Move over Vogue: Introducing Fashions Dads of Instragram.

Making socks with crocs fashionable since the 90s.

If your Instagram feed is getting clogged with thigh gaps, perfectly arranged fruit, green smoothies and belfies, we have the perfect antidote.

Fashion Dads – the brainchild of Ashley Hesseltine, author of the blog Witty + Pretty, and Travis May, showcases some of the finest sartorial choices dads make.

From socks with Crocs to New Balance sneakers (not the cool ones) and Hawaiian printed shirts to tracksuit pants, it’s a true testament to how little dads care about fashion.

The inspiration behind the account, which now has over 80,000 followers, was their own fathers. Appearing on the Today show, Hesseltine said: “We were talking about our own dads’ ridiculous outfits and were like, ‘We should create an Instagram account for this.'”

“We started with pictures of our own dads then people started submitting them.”

Dads: wearing Normcore before you were even born.

The pair come up with hilarious style commentary to go with each submitted image.

“Confidence. If you have it, you can make anything look good.’ –DVF. Went shopping @dianawarner tonight and LOVE LOVE this new orange sweater matched with a baby blue khaki short. Great for early spring outings and dinners. If you pair it with a long grey sock it is money. #FashionIsLife,” the one below reads.

The pair who were also responsible for the Bros Being Basic parody account, then came up with the idea to showcase the dads in satirical fashion blogger style.

“We think everyone with a father can relate,”  Hesseltine told the Today show.

We have to agree.

Speedos, stubby shorts, what are some of your dads biggest fashion faux pas?
