The Ship Song reimagined. Beautiful.

This is so close to perfection. The people at the Sydney Opera House wanted to remind people of how wonderful the icon, and the culture it represented, was and decided to do it through song.

Here they’ve made a video of Nick Cave’s famous ‘The Ship Song’ which was voted one of the best Australian songs ever.

Australian artists of all stripes have come together on the project and the result is, well, utterly beautiful.
