1. Rihaana got booed. Again.

Another one of Rihanna’s Australian performance

This time, it’s Rihanna’s Brisbane show that has been slammed by critics and members of the audience. She made it to Brisbane on time, and was on stage without too much of a delay (unlike her ill-fated Adelaide performance), but Ri-Ri has faced negative backlash for performing a series of B-side songs to start the performance off and for wearing a scandalous outfit and dancing provocatively.

GASP.

It seems everyone forgot, it is Rhianna.

The Courier-Mail went even further, writing that:

“Live singing is becoming rarer and rarer in arena shows and there was little if any on display in this performance.

Even Milli Vanilli understood the cardinal rule that if your voice is coming through the speakers then the microphone should be in front of your mouth.

Not that it really mattered much whether she was singing or not — the sound design was so woeful that there were many times when you couldn’t differentiate between voice and synthesiser, the sound was so blown out.”

Other stops on the pop star’s Diamonds World Tour show have received negative reviews after it appeared that Rihanna was either drunk or lip-syncing on stage.

3. That time Barbara Walters ‘shaded’ Katy Perry.

You’re probably wondering what ‘shaded’ means in this context and it’s a verbal smack-down of sorts.

Katy Perry has recalled the time she ran late for an interview with 84-year-old award-winning journalist, Barbara Walters. For with whom you do not want to be late.

The 28-year-old revealed in Billboard magazine she had forewarned Walters’ people that she was running late for the interview, but when she finally arrived, Walters was far from pleased.

“When I got there, I apologised immediately, but then she said to me, ‘You know, I’ve only ever waited for one other person this long, and you know who that person was? Judy Garland. You know how she turned out, right?’ ” Perry said.

“I was like, ‘Oh, snap! Yes, b––!’ ” she said. “I think it’s the coolest thing that Barbara Walters shaded me.”

At the time of the interview, Perry’s two-year marriage to Russell Brand had begun to disintegrate.

“I just couldn’t tell her as we were sitting down for a mega-interview, ‘Hey, my marriage is falling apart. Give me a break.'”

As for her new album “PRISM” out Oct 22, many of the song lyrics reference her marriage and act as a cathartic release for the singer-songwriter.

In “Ghost” the line “You sent a text/It’s like the wind changed your mind” references Brand’s infamous divorce text and “By the Grace of God,” opens with Perry lying on the floor of a bathroom, fighting suicidal thoughts.

“That song is evident of how tough it really was at a certain point. I asked myself, ‘Do I want to endure? Should I continue living?'” Perry says.

“All the songs are real-life moments. I can only write autobiographically. I put all the evidence in the music. I tell my fans if they want to know the real truth about stuff, just listen to the songs.”

In the interview the 20-year-old singer she says she wrote the song ‘Drive’ in February and its subject matter is “about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship.”

“I wrote it while I was working on Valentine’s Day – emotionally it was such a hard time,” Cyrus said.

And if you wanted to know Cyrus’ drug preferences these days and the several ‘Molly’ references in her number one hit ‘We Can’t Stop’ weren’t clear enough, she’s into Molly (or MDMA).

“Hollywood is a coke town, but weed is so much better. And molly, too. Those are happy drugs – social drugs. They make you want to be with friends. You’re out in the open. You’re not in a bathroom.”

“I really don’t like coke. It’s so gross and so dark. It’s like what are you, from the ’90s? Ew.”

As South Park’s Mr Garrison says, “Drugs are bad mmmkay?”

Cyrus tweeted the lyrics to ‘Wrecking Ball’ on September 27 but it’s the cute kitty cat that’s confusing the break-up speculators. Did she really want to break up? Does she want him back? Didn’t she cry in the clip because her dog just died? What will she say next?

7. Blake Lively to launch Goop-like site.

Where would we be without the celebrities telling us what to buy and where to shop?

In a recent interview with British Vogue, Blake Lively announced that she’s starting a lifestyle company.

“It’s something that will be launching in a few months and that I’m really, really thrilled about. The main element of it is that it’s about storytelling and it’s about living a very one-of-a-kind, curated life, and how to achieve that. There’s nothing like it out there – it’s without a genre.”

Goop. (cough.)

“I have so many passions outside of acting and things that I grew up being good at and that I don’t utilise when acting. Acting was something that my family did so I just kind of got into it by default, but there was so much that I cultivated, thinking that I wouldn’t be an actor.”

Alright fine, we’re kind of excited about it.
