Watch Miley Cyrus on Jimmy Kimmel and learn how her nipples are responsible for the downfall of society.

It would seem the moral fabric of society is resting on Miley’s boobs.

It’s incredible that a young woman’s small breasts, covered with heart-shaped pasties, are considered “scandalous” and have the power to cause a grown man to blush, when yesterday free-to-air television stations screened footage of two people being shot dead by a murderous gunman.

Miley Cyrus, 23, is hosting the MTV Video Music Awards this weekend, so she’s doing the rounds to promote the show and just generally being herself, which to some people means “totally outrageous”!

On Wednesday night, she stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to chat about Sunday’s show, wearing a sequinned skirts-and-cape ensemble with matching pasties covering most of her breasts.

Miley Cyrus and her shocking, shocking tits.

“You are almost naked,” Kimmel told her, which is patently untrue considering most of her flesh was covered in sequinned fabric.

“Oh, my God! I am embarrassed now!”

Kimmel told Cyrus that he’s got a 23-year-old daughter, and he doesn’t know how he’d feel if he turned on the TV and saw her in Cyrus’ outfit.

“My dad’s cool,” she responded. “I’m sure he’d rather me not have my tits out all the time. But he’d rather me have my tits out and be a good person than have a shirt on and be a bitch.”

…”If you’ve got your tits out, you can’t really be an asshole.”

I question the logic of this statement, but not the veracity of her next one.

“Humans aren’t afraid of the human breast, it’s the nipple that’s the issue. I’m showing my boobs and no one has a problem because the nipples are covered so somehow that’s OK. America’s actually fine with tits, it’s nipple they don’t like,” she said, adding that it’s strange since everybody has nipples, but not everyone has “tits”.

Kimmel still couldn’t handle it: “I’m still a little bit flustered by your outfit.”

Just to double-check if her shocking outfit choices and openness about her gender fluidity and sexuality had scandalised the rest of society as much as Kimmel, Cyrus took to the streets, disguised as an Australian reporter called Janet, to gauge the feeling of the common man.

“If Miley was one of your daughters, would you let her out there, dressing the way she is, shaking her ass all over the place?” she asked one guy who appeared to be dressed as some kind of urban cowboy.

“I think she’s starving for attention and that’s why she’s doing it all crazy like that. She’s missing something somewhere,” he told her.

“In her heart, probably. In her deep soul,” suggested Cyrus.

This man is concerned that Cyrus is doing nothing to keep the moral fibre of ‘Murica from falling apart. “Janet” agrees.

“The whole fabric of America is falling apart and she’s not doing anything to try to keep it together,” he said.

Wow. That is a lot of responsibility to put on one young woman’s shoulders, or indeed, her bare breasts.

Cyrus, with her cultivated armpit hair, her bisexuality and her championing of female masturbation challenges the status quo. She’s not performing sexuality for the pleasure of men — she’s being her sexual self, for her own pleasure.

The world cannot even deal. She’s gone off the rails, they crow. She’s on drugs!

Why the moral outrage at Miley Cyrus’ antics when thousands of people around the US are being shot on daily basis because of a lack of gun control? Surely that’s the real outrage.

Miley Cyrus is hosting the VMAs on Sunday. Expect tits, tongues and twerking, following closely by pearl-clutching and cries of, “Won’t somebody think of the children?”
