She’s said she might have her uterus removed.
Say what you will about old Kimbo K (we’ve discussed it, she’s totally cool for me to call her that), the woman’s honest.
In a new interview with C Magazine, Kardashian told interviewer Amanda de Cadenet that she’s likely to have a hysterectomy after she delivers the son she’s carrying.
She suffered so many complications during the pregnancy and birth of her daughter North, now 2, that even conceiving a second time was difficult.
“I had this condition called placenta accreta. There were a couple of little operations to fix all that, so that created a little hole in my uterus, which I think made it really tough to get pregnant again,” she said.
“I would go to the doctor in Beverly Hills every day at five in the morning to get tested to see if I was ovulating.”
If she was, she and her husband Kanye West would have to get down to business immediately — something that really killed the mood.
“Yes, it takes the fun out of it. I’m like, ‘I’m ovulating, get home now!’ He’d be like, ‘Wait, I’m in the studio.'”
Doctors think she’s likely to have placenta accreta again.
According to Wikipedia (journalism!) the condition occurs when “all or part of the placenta attaches abnormally to the uterine wall.” It can cause heavy bleeding, and in some cases, the need for a hysterectomy to prevent life-threatening haemorrhaging.

Gawd, placenta accreta and pre-eclampsia. That's the stuff you wouldn't wish on your worst enemies.
I had accreta and a complete placenta previa for my last pregnancy. They also found a ton of endo when they opened me up (classical incision) which had caused my uterus to be attached to my bowel plus lots of other adhesions. That ended up causing the most problems - u controllable bleeding - so I had a hysterctomy straight after my c section. Five hour surgery and yes, not much fun. Thank goodness I had the awesome Craig Pennell doing my surgery. He save my life and that of my baby. Not so,etching I would wish on anyone either, though.
I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you, that must have been extremely distressing, not to mention scary as f*ck. Praise the lord for modern obstetric medicine.
