All the notable nods and the horrifying snubs.
The Emmy Awards nominations are out, but with the plethora of amazing TV happening right now, and the multitudes of talented actors, there are bound to be some disappointments.
The cast and crew of Game of Thrones were not among the disappointment though, the show received a huge 24 nominations, including one for Outstanding Drama Series.
Also in that category are: Better Call Saul, Downton Abbey, Homeland, House of Cards, Mad Men and Orange is the New Black, but Empire missed out.
The Lee Daniels hip hop drama is the biggest show on US TV right now, and Daniels had a few choice words for the TV Academy about it.
He hashtagged his Instagram video #canfinallypostthis #timetoberealagain #emmyniceguyoverwith.
Meanwhile, the award for most excited nominee has already been won. That honour goes to Uzo Aduba, who, along with Cat Deeley, co-hosted the nomination ceremony. Aduba visibly jumped when she found out her show, Orange is the New Black, was nominated in the Outstanding Drama category.

OUTLANDER!!!!!!! If you haven't seen it watch it immediately! It's awesome!
EEEEPPPP ORPHAN BLACK! TAT IS FREAKING AMAZING! SHE IS THE BEST ACTOR WORKING IN TV RIGHT NOW. NOT ACTRESS, JUST ON THE WHOLE ACTOR, MALE OR FEMALE. SHE IS UNBELIEVABLE.
I say this as a man, by the way. There is no one right now that can even hold a torch to what Seestra Tat does week in week out on that damn show. Just pure red hot talent! That show deserved way more nominations. I cant believe this show and this actress haven't received way more nominations and in the previous years.
Maria Doyle Kennedy and Evelyn Brochu are sensational in it. And Jordan Gavaris is flawless as the gay brother. That whole show is a case study in how to be fucking excellent in handling the LGBT characters. Ari Millen shines as the male version of Tat, playing multiple characters in the same shot.
I am pretty pissed that Fresh off the boat got ignored. Maybe because its only a season in, that show is amazing. Great work by everyone involved there as well.
