He's been slammed for allegedly cheating on his wife. Now Beau Ryan is back.

His time of lying low is over.

It’s been almost two months since reports of Beau Ryan‘s infidelity shattered the illusion of his perfect family.

The former NRL player was accused of cheating on his wife Kara Orrell last month with former High 5 star Lauren Brant after they starred in a production of Aladdin together last year.

Since the scandal broke in Woman’s Day — Lauren’s jilted ex-fiance Warren Riley sold his story to the tabloid to heal his broken heart – there has been no word from 30-year-old Ryan, his wife, or 23-year-old Brant. Nothing. In fact, Ryan, a man who is guilty of over-posting his love for his wife and two-year-old daughter Remi on social media, hasn’t uploaded an image to Instagram since before the story came out. It’s not a confession, but there’s been no denial, either.

Now, he’s ready to come back. Ryan was a regular host on Channel Nine’s The Footy Show, alongside Erin Molan. It wasn’t his rugby skills that landed him the gig — it was his charm and his charisma in front of the camera that had fans drawn to him.

When his alleged affair was discovered — and subsequently publicised — he took a leave of absence from the show, something that was supported by his co-hosts. But this Thursday marks The Footy Show‘s big show, ahead of Sunday’s NRL grand final, and Ryan will be back on board.

At the Dally M Awards last night, an event which Ryan and Orrell usually attend every year, his co-host Erin Molan spoke to Daily Mail Australia about Ryan’s return to the panel.

“We miss Beau, it’ll be lovely to have him back. We’ve missed him,” she said.

“I’m really close with Beau and his wife Kara so it’s obviously been a really rough time for him. It’ll be nice to have them back. It’s been a rough time but Beau will be back and bring his usual spark and flair and it’ll be fun.”

Meanwhile, Ryan himself spoke for the first time to The Daily Telegraph about the alleged affair, but didn’t give anything away.

“I’m very much looking forward to getting back to work on Thursday with the rest of the guys,” he said.

“I’ve been away addressing some personal issues.”

Ahead of his appearance, questions are already being raised.

Will Ryan even mention his actions? Will he issue an apology?

Something tells us ratings will be huge for Thursday night’s show.
