Drew Barrymore shares intimate details about her divorce from Will Kopelman.

Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman have confirmed their rumoured divorce is actually happening in a joint statement.

In a statement to People magazine, the couple cited their children as a priority in the proceedings, “sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family,”

“Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority,” they added.

The couple, who have two daughters together, Olive, who is 3, and Frankie, who is nearly 2, have only recently split but have plans to divorce in the next few months.

With little public interaction between the two, the separation was speculated upon with recent reports.
