The wait is finally over.

Disney Plus is officially here and we’re sorry, but we’re going to have to take approximately three months off work to rewatch all of our favourite childhood movies.

Following its release in the United States last week, the most highly-anticipated new streaming service has finally arrived in Australia and New Zealand.

The new streaming platform, which was announced back in 2018, is home to brand new Disney originals as well as a bunch of Disney classics, Pixar movies, Marvel movies, Star Wars movies and even every single season of The Simpsons.

Here’s a sneak peek at everything coming to Disney Plus. Post continues after video.

Yep, we’ll officially never have the problem of having ‘nothing to watch’ ever again.

Now that Disney Plus has finally arrived in Australia, here’s everything you need to know about the new streaming service – including the best new shows it’s releasing.

What is Disney Plus and where can I watch it?

Disney Plus will be available in Australia from November 19, 2019.

The service, which is available on demand, will be available on most device, including iPhone, iPad, smart TVs and more.

How much is Disney Plus in Australia?

Much like Netflix and Stan, Disney Plus will be billed monthly.

In Australia, the price is AUD$8.99 monthly for full access to all Disney Plus content.

Alternatively, there’s also an option to pay for a full year upfront for AUD$89.99, which essentially gives you two free months of the service.

For new users, a seven day free trial is also available.

What shows are coming to Disney Plus?

Although there’s still plenty of original TV shows and movies to launch on Disney Plus in the coming months, there’s already a bunch of original content available to watch.

The Mandalorian is the very first live-action Star Wars TV series.

Boasting an incredible cast, including Game of Thrones' Pedro Pascal, the series follows the travails of a Mandalorian bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy.

The first two episodes of the series are available to watch now, with episodes dropping weekly.

The World According to Jeff Goldblum

Look, we'd pretty much listen to Jeff Goldblum talk about anything.

Seriously, the man can make anything sound interesting... and that's exactly what The World According to Jeff Goldblum is about.

The 12-part National Geographic docuseries takes an in depth look at commonplace 'modern marvels' – like ice cream, sneakers and tattoos – from the witty mind of actor and musician Goldblum.

The first two episodes are available to watch now.

The Imagineering Story

New docuseries The Imagineering Story takes an unprecedented look inside what it takes to create and build Disney theme parks.

Created by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Leslie Iwerks, the series takes viewers behind the scenes at Walt Disney Imagineering, which is the design centre of The Walt Disney Company.

The six-episode series, which is released weekly, is perfect for fans of all things Disneyland.

Lady and the Tramp

All of our dreams have finally been answered with a live-action version of Lady and the Tramp.

Starring Tessa Thompson as Lady and Justin Theroux as Tramp, the movie, which is a retelling of the 1955 animated classic, was made exclusively for Disney Plus.

The reimagined film follows the same plot as the original, as American Cocker Spaniel Lady gets lost and meets stray dog Tramp.

Unlike The Lion King, which is entirely CGI, there are actually real dogs portraying the roles in Lady and the Tramp, meaning it's the perfect movie to watch with your dogs.

Noelle

It wouldn't be a streaming service without some cheesy Christmas movies, right?

Noelle, which is available to watch on the platform now, follows Santa Claus' daughter (Anna Kendrick), as she is forced to take over the family business after her brother Nick (Bill Hader) takes a break... and doesn't return.

The movie also stars Billy Eichner and Shirley MacLaine.
