The David Jones Spring/Summer collections were held last night and while there has been much fuss made about Miranda Kerr’s return, what we really want to see is what the celebrities and fashion forward folk wore on the red carpet. Oh and the fashion too, the forecast for Summer is lots of white, 70’s style swimsuits, bright colours and floaty dresses.

How about we celebrate the incredible women who get up at 5 or 6 every morning, get kids dressed, make lunches, get them to school, work full time, maintain a relationship, find time for some pampering and do this day in day out without the title of perfect in every way?
How about we celebrate and publisise how healthy and stunning a wider range of women are other than the constant focus on the most perfect woman on the plant; women everywhere don't even bother getting out of bed in the morning, Miranda Kerr is back in the country.
Man I have 2 university degrees and all my savings are in the share market - retail is such a false industry and so out of touch with reality, where people are really struggling financially at the moment. They probably spend more money on make up and spray tans than i make in a year!
