A contestant on US reality TV show Dating Naked has sued the show’s network after footage was broadcast of her, well, um… dating naked.

Twenty-eight-year-old model Jessie Nizewitz is suing VH1 for $10 million after an uncensored shot of her crotch was broadcast during the show. Nizewitz alleges that the show’s producers assured her that any shots of her private parts would be pixellated before they were broadcast.

Via the New York Post:

“I immediately started getting text messages. Everyone saw it,” the mortified Nizewitz recalled.

“One of the messages read, ‘So your money shot is on cable TV.’”

Even the runway model’s family caught an eyeful.

“My grandma saw it. I saw her this week and she didn’t have much to say to me. She’s probably mad. My parents are just annoyed,” Nizewitz lamented.

It is unclear as to whether he grandma would have been completely fine with the footage (in which Nizewitz wrestled her potential beau to the floor while stark naked) being aired with pixellation. But, hey, we’ll take her word for it.

Nizewitz also alleges that the censorship stuff-up ruined her chances of a potential relationship with a new suitor she had just started seeing.

“He never called me again after the show aired. I would have hoped we could have had a long-term relationship. He was employed, Jewish, in his 30s and that’s pretty much ideal,” Nizewitz said.

Seems like $10 million worth of damages.
