Got tissues? These dads describe their first thoughts of fatherhood.

These photos of Dads experiencing their newborns for the first time is priceless.

It can be so difficult to put into words what becoming a new parent is like. You’re overwhelmed by the magic of the delivery but excited for the new journey of Disney/Pokemon movies, sparkly/glittery sandals or Saturday mornings spent on the soccer field.

In that very first moment though, it’s just you and a screaming bundle of joy wrapped up in a sweaty mess of ecstasy. If you had to describe that first moment in one sentence, what would you say? And what advice would you give to your newborn?

The Book of Everyone, a personalised book-making website, sent a photographer out to London hospitals to visually capture what that moment was like for a new dad.

Not only are their excited/petrified faces priceless but their answers are wonderfully thoughtful.

Welcome to parenthood, gentleman.
