Spanish police have shared footage of one of their training dogs, named Poncho, performing CPR on an officer in a training exercise in Madrid.
In the footage, the Spanish pup immediately runs over to the officer who has just fallen to the ground and pops his paws on his front chest to try and wake him up.
Amazingly, when the officer is unresponsive, the dog puts his ear to his mouth to LISTEN FOR BREATHING.
The pup continues to repeat his amazing CPR skills until the police officer sits up and gives Poncho a treat for being such a good boy.
In the tweet shared by the police force, they call the dog heroic, adding that the dog is the only being in the world that will love you more than you love yourself.

The moral of the story is that we all need a dog like Poncho in our lives. Just in case.
