Former Friends actress Courteney Cox is engaged.
The 50-year-old Cougar Town actress has revealed that she is engaged to 37-year-old Snow Patrol band member Johnny McDaid. The couple are both clearly ecstatic, and shared the news simultaneously on social media.
“I’m engaged to him!” Cox tweeted with a picture of the couple; while McDaid shared the same picture with the text, “I’m engaged to her!”
Courteney Cox has a nine-year-old daughter, Coco, from her previous relationship with ex-husband David Arquette. Since their split Arquette has also welcomed son into the world, Charlie, with his new partner Christina McLarty.
Arquette and Courteney Cox are famously still on very good terms, and are regularly spotted out and about together with their daughter.
With Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox both set to walk down the aisle sometime soon, we’re kind of hoping for the double wedding we never got to see on Friends…
