Tonight we witnessed the last commitment ceremony before we head to the final vows and things got… intense.

First up were Steve and Mishel. After last night’s dinner party, viewers were led to believe they would be going their separate ways. Even expert, John Aiken, was sick of their sh*t.

Watch John Aiken call out Steve and Mishel’s marriage. Post continues below.

“You guys started out as friends, eight weeks on, you’re still friends. You’ve not got out of the friendzone at all. You are essentially two people who have not been able to get on board with the process,” he said.

“We can call it. It’s friends, it’s not lovers and it’s not going anywhere. It’s not going anywhere now and it ain’t going anywhere in the future. I’m calling BS on this.”

And yet they both chose to say… for some completely unknown reason, confusing approximately everyone.

Drew and KC, Michael and Stacey and Seb and Lizzie all chose to stay (as expected). Then it was Connie and Jonethen’s turn on the couch.

Now look, Jonethen really wants to leave. He’s written ‘leave’ for two weeks now, and he was really hoping the third time would be the charm.

But it wasn’t.

We repeat. It was not.

Connie wrote ‘stay’ and broke Jonethen into 725648 tiny, little pieces.
