Chrissy Teigen absolutely demolished Piers Morgan on Twitter.

While it’s not yet scientifically proven that having a baby makes already hilarious humans even funnier than before, it  does seem to be true in the cases of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, the pair decided to rip Piers Morgan – chief overlord of the babbling old white man –  a new one.

It all started when Morgan shared his poorly timed opinions on the recent death of boxing legend Muhammad Ali and wrote an opinion piece comparing Ali to Donald Trump.

Yep, just try to wrap your head around the idea that for Morgan, a black man who grew up in a segregated state and overcame racial and social adversity to become of the greatest sportsmen of all time is in somehow relatable to a white, real estate heir and magnate whose greatest achievements to date include creating a reality television show in his honour, discussing the size of his penis during a presidential debate and referring to 9/11 as 7-Eleven.

"Muhammad Ali said far more inflammatory/racist things about white people than Donald Trump ever has about Muslims. #fact", Morgan tweeted at the time. 

Understandably, neither Teigen or Legend took kindly to his views.

Morgan continued, tweeting "I hope people don't make me sound too perfect when I die. No coats of sugar please."

Cue John Legend's amazing reply of, "@piersmorgan you could test us by announcing your retirement."

"@johnlegend from what? trolling isn't a job (I've tried)," Teigen chimed in.

It was the perfect one-two punch that even Ali himself would have surely loved.

From there, things snowballed in the way they can only on Twitter.

"Maybe I should take up a proper job, like modelling?" Morgan replied to the married couple.

Recognising that his wife had this one, Legend bowed out (probably to go feed baby Luna or something).

"@piersmorgan it keeps me nice and not-racist so sure, give it a go."

After Morgan responded, informing Teigen that he too is not a racist, the mum-of-one hit back with "@piersmorgan remember when Bruce Willis didn't know he was dead? It's like that."

OOOHHH time to get some ice and apply a cold cloth to that burn, Piers.

From there the controversial columnist and TV personality continued to tweet, feebly hitting back at Teigen's further tweets, but it was all white noise compared to the hilarity that is Chrissy Teigen.
