News: The 9-year-old Brisbane girl, forced into prostitution by her mother.

A 63 year-old-man has been fined $1500 for engaging in sex with a 15-year-old girl in Brisbane.

The girl, who is now 19, was first forced into prostitution by her mother at the age of nine when they visited Australia for a six-week holiday from Thailand in 2004 .

At the time, the girl was taught sex acts such as oral sex, massage and masturbation of men.

After moving permanently to Brisbane two years later, the mother continued to force the then 11-year-old to perform sexual acts before and after school.

If she complained, she was punished by starvation and abuse.

The child in question, now 19, alerted authorities about the situation in 2011.

The 63-year-old man was reportedly given a “very lenient” punishment by District Court judge Richard Jones. This was due to the man being completely unaware that the girl was seeing him against her will, despite him having seen her for 5 years.

The man was also led to believe by the girl’s mother that the child was her 19-year-old cousin.

To the man, Justice Jones said, “I have treated you very leniently, so suggest you don’t come back to this court again”.

The man also avoided having a conviction recorded against him so that he could still be able to visit his son in the United States.

Her mother was sentenced to nine years in jail in 2013 for child trafficking.

About the case, Justice Jones said, “It is a case that is almost impossible to comprehend for normal people. That a mother would, in such a perverse way, corrupt a young daughter from such a very early age.”
