The holiday destination countless Aussie celebrities seem to have spent the end of 2018.

The year is coming to a close and New Year’s Eve is upon us.

But while thousands of Aussies will battle the inevitable invasion of personal space in overcrowded bars and clubs across the country tonight, it seems dozens of Australia’s celebrities will be ringing in the New Year somewhere much, much better.

If Instagram is anything to go by, it looks like Fiji is the place to be this New Year’s.

While we’ve been finishing off Christmas leftovers and watching far too much Netflix, many of our favourite Aussie celebrities appear to be relaxing in glamorous resorts and even private islands.

Yep, private islands.

Not only were Jackie O and Lee Henderson spotted in Fiji, Roxy Jacenko and Benji and Zoe Marshall are holidaying there too.

PR queen Roxy Jacenko and influencer Svetlana Sinilova are ringing in the New Year at luxury resort Six Senses.

The best part? The resort is only accessible by speed boat or helicopter.

Radio personality Jackie O Henderson and her former husband Lee Henderson are spending the Christmas and New Year’s break together with their seven-year-old daughter Kitty at Fiji’s Kokomo Private Island.

Yep, we’ve got serious holiday envy.

Although we’re feeling a little jealous, we have to say – lounging around in Fiji looks like a pretty perfect way to spend New Year’s Eve.
