Baby news for Australian Racing Royalty…

Sydney fashion writer Kate Waterhouse has announced that she and husband Luke Ricketson are expecting their first child.

Waterhouse is the daughter of horse racing trainer, Gai Waterhouse, and Ricketson, 40, is a former Sydney Roosters football player.

The couple, who married in Italy 18 months ago , informed family and friends at Kate’s 30th birthday party in Sydney on Saturday night.

Waterhouse later told her Instagram followers:

“Best birthday present ever! @lukericketson and I are so excited to be expecting our first child. We feel so blessed & could not be happier. #14weeks”

It has been a big year for the Waterhouse family: Brother Tom and his wife Hoda welcomed their daughter Rose in March and Gai won the Melbourne Cup in November.

Fairfax have reported that the baby in due in June – it will no doubt be both sporty and stylish.

Leaked tape reveals the real Kyle and Jackie O…

And 2Day FM, certainly made sure the long time on-air duo, got a farewell present – in the form of a two-minute tape, played at the Christmas party on Monday night.

The tape features the ever-controversial Kyle and Jackie O being their usual <sarcasm> charming <sarcasm> selves. It’s essentially a blooper reel, filled with moments never aired on the show; Kyle and Jackie O swearing at staff and generally being ridiculously offensive.

You can listen to the tape on Mumbrella here (they received it from an “anonymous radio insider”), but here are some of the low points:

Kyle saying, “I don’t want a big girl that’s full of confidence that will boss me around. I want a skanky little drunk ho, full of issues, that I can just manipulate with my mind.”

Kyle yelling at staff: “Calls are finished. SHUT THAT OFF, IDIOT! Friggin’ idiot. Bloody stupid…” and calling Prinnie a “piece of shit”

Jackie speaking about a trip to LA: “there’s just too many fucking faults and stupid things on the website that haven’t been thought of”

Kyle ranting about ciggies: “Has that **** got my cigarettes yet? No? Well f*** me dead!”

And the epic finale, courtesy of Kyle: “You motherfuckers! I’m gonna cut your throat! I’m gonna come in your mouth!”

Just… we don’t even have any words.

Apparently, Jackie O was present at the Christmas party where the audio tape was played. Guy Dobson, chief content officer for Southern Cross Austereo, told Mumbrella: “It was played last night with Jackie in attendance. It was a blooper tape of their off-air antics put together to play at the end of year private function – it is nothing more and nothing less.”

Fast & Furious Star Paul Walker dies in a horror crash

Paul Walker, best known for his role as Brian O’Conner in the Fast and Furious franchise, has been killed in a car crash at the age of 40. Walker, who was in the passenger’s seat of a Porsche, was killed instantly when the car lost control and slammed into a pole in Santa Clarita, California.

Walker had been at a charity function for Reach Out Worldwide, set up to raise money for victims of Typhoon Haiyan, before deciding to take a drive in the red Porsche Carrera.

A coroner’s report revealed the cause of his death. The 40-year-old actor died as a result of the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries. This finding confirms that it was not the impact of the crash that caused his death.

Walker leaves behind a teenage daughter, Meadow.

Fans and celebrities have taken to social media to mourn the actor’s death.

“Brother I will miss you very much,” fellow Fast and Furious co-star Vin Diesel wrote on his Instagram account. “I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace.”

So is there or isn’t there #PacKerr?

US website E!News have reported that there is “no truth” to the rumours. Similarly to the initial reports, the gossip website has not identified their sources.

A few months after splitting from the former model Erica Packer, James Packer is reportedly in a relationship with another one of Australia’s most famous faces: Miranda Kerr.

Miranda Kerr split from her husband, Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, in October.

This morning, Women’s Day have published a story, reporting their secret romance and claiming that the relationship between the pair is serious.

The Woman’s Day cover features Packer and Kerr photoshopped into a picture together, with the headline: “Head over Heels: The Billionaire, The Supermodel and Their Red Hot Romance’’.

Fairfax have also reported that the editor of Woman’s Day, Fiona Connolly, will be “standing behind the story 100 per cent.”

Sources apparently close to Packer, 46, and Kerr, 30, told The Daily Telegraph that the relationship started only “very recently”.

Representatives from Packer and Kerr have neither confirmed nor denied the reports, despite being approached by reporters nearly a week ago.

Three months ago Packer ended his six-year marriage to Erica, with whom he has three children. Kerr split from Bloom in October after three years of marriage. The couple have one child, Flynn, aged 2.

Both Erica and Miranda are Gunnedah girls, and both rose to fame on the Aussie catwalk. The families have known each other for a number of years, and even holidayed together in Tahiti in 2012. Kerr and Bloom took their son Flynn, on a holiday with the Packer children Indigo and Jackson.

As with any new couple in the public eye, they have already earned their own hashtag: #packerr

Leila McKinnon is pregnant with her second child.

Today Show host Leila McKinnon and husband Nine CEO David Gyngell, are expecting to welcome their second child into the world.

The couple’s first child, Edmund (also known as Ted), was born back in October 2012 with much joy after many years of struggling with fertility issues – including five years of IVF.

The Australian Financial Review have reported that McKinnon is due in May – congratulations to the couple!

Orlando Bloom opens up on split from Miranda Kerr

“We’re a family and we’ll always love each other and we’re going to be in each other’s lives,” Bloom told E! News at The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug premiere.

“What [Flynn] reads and knows about when he’s a grown up is more important to me than anything,” Bloom said tonight. “We both love and cherish each other and then our boy, so it’s great.”

Bloom and co-star Evangeline Lily shared a friendly kiss on the movie premiere’s red carpet. While Kerr, Bloom and son Flynn were spotted together over the weekend grabbing lunch together before Bloom headed to his performance of Romeo and Juliet.
