Celeb news: Charlize Theron's bedtime book.

It’s an interesting choice for a bedtime story…. Or is it?

Charlize Theron has revealed she reads her son the book Go the F–k to Sleep at night.

“A lot of people have sent me these children’s books, and there’s this amazing book, a best-seller called Go the F-ck to Sleep,” Charlize said in an interview with MTV. “This book was good for me because it made me realize that I don’t need to judge myself right now.”

The book was written by Adam Mansbach and was published last year. He wrote it after putting his two-year old daughter, Vivien, to sleep one night and updating his Facebook profile jokingly saying that he was writing a book called Go the F*ck  to Sleep. The response to his update was so great, he did write that book. And news of it went viral.

“The whole book is just basically, ‘Please, go the f— to sleep’,” Charlize said. “Because (Jackson) doesn’t understand anything right now, and so he just wants my face to look a certain way.”

Charlize adopted baby Jackson earlier this year.

When the book first came out, former Play School presenter Noni Hazlehurst recorded an uncensored reading of it. And it was hilarious. You can check that out here.
