We can't believe what this bride made her friend do.

Even for a bridezilla this is going way too far.

When it comes to wedding horror stories, we’ve heard our fair share. But this particular Reddit thread had our entire office reeling. A Reddit user attended the wedding of a friend, when at the venue she was asked to come and have a look at her make-up.

“She knows I love and adore makeup, and she was so excited because she had hired a makeup artist to do her up for her big day. I gladly oblige and when I enter the room, and she turns around so happy and beautiful… until I got close to her,” they wrote.

But that’s when things go massively downhill for this wedding guest.

“She looks at me and I watch as her face goes from glowing and excited to downright ‘I’m going to cry.’ When I ask her what’s wrong she looks me dead and the eyes and says, ‘You’re makeup looks better than mine,'” the post read.

"You're makeup looks better than mine."

"I am stunned. Her makeup is beautiful (an amazing soft halo eye, flawless and dewy complexion) and her hair is beautiful and her dress is immaculate. I tell her as much and tears are in her eyes now. She says, 'You have always worn makeup better than me, can't you just let me have today?'"

The guest continues to explain that her makeup is neutral. She wore foundation, concealer, very light mascara, bronzer in the crease of her eyes, a nude lipstick and had contoured slightly.

But the bride who appeared to be jealous of her guest then dropped a huge bomb.

"She asked me to 'please wipe your makeup off'. PLEASE WIPE YOUR MAKEUP OFF. What. The. F*ck. I honestly couldn't even believe that she had said it. I asked her, 'Excuse me?' 'PLEASE go to the bathroom and wipe your makeup off.' My mouth must have opened so wide my chin hit the floor and a bridesmaid offers me a makeup wipe," she explains.

"No. Nope. Not happening. She is the bride and today is her big day but that doesn't give her the right to downright be a bully. She knows how much I enjoy makeup. We always have conversations on how confident it makes us feel about ourselves. I can't see WHY she would tell me to wipe my makeup off," the post continued.

The guest explains she congratulated the bride, left her gift with the bride's mother and drove home.

Following the big day, the guest details, "She has since apologised to me and thanked me for her gift, but man. That was just the craziest thing that has ever happened to me. I would never ask anyone to 'please remove your makeup' at any event."

"Maybe this makes me seem like a b*tch, but oh well. It takes all sorts to make the world go 'round, I guess," she concludes.

Would you ever ask a guest to take off their make-up at your wedding?

The only thing that MIGHT be worse than that, are these wedding cakes...
