Get yourself a bargain basement Kim K boob contour.

Last year was undoubtedly the Age of the Contour, and no one did it better than Kim K.

Instagram feeds and YouTube accounts all over the world were filled with beauty gurus demonstrating how to get the perfect Kim K cheek. Makeup companies started listening and the market was flooded with contouring brushes, contouring palettes and various highlighters all designed to help people achieve the defined jawlines and slender noses of our favourite celebrities.

The makeup trends that need to stay in 2014.

Contouring itself is nothing new. Celebrity makeup artists have been doing it for years. The basic notion is that anything you want to hide (wide nose, big chin) recedes with the use of darker colours – and anything you wish to highlight (cheekbones, brow bones, cupids bow) is illuminated with pearlescent pigments and lighter shades.

So what's new for 2015?  More Kim contouring, of a whole new level. Boob level to be exact. In fact, Kim has recently hired herself her very own countouring expert, just for her breasts.

Every person with breasts needs to know this

Yep, that's right. There is now someone out there in celebrity land, someone called Jessica Mirdita, who can officially start printing herself some new business cards advertising her professional services as a boob contourer (tit painter? nork artist? I dunno, the choices are endless).

Using a combination of (sweat-proof?) bronzer and highlighter, Jessica has been able to give Kim the perfect LA boob job without a trip to the plastic surgeon. Lifted, rounded and sitting high up under her chin, the Kim K fun bags could give small-chested women everywhere hope of achieving defined super boozies without a trip to Thailand.

Kim's a mother of one so perhaps she felt the girls needed a little something to restore them to their former glory. After having two kids I totally get that things start to head south after a while, but having spent hours staring at Kim's puppies I can vouch that they're showing absolutely no signs of wear and tear. Damn good bronzer? Let's see for ourselves.

How to: Achieve Kim K boobs (For Under $30)

If you're keen to create some awesome jugs using contouring, here's our guide to getting Kim Kardashian's cleavage.

Step one

Get yourself a bronzer in a deep matte shade. My favourites would be Chocolate Soleil Bronzer by Too Faced Cosmetics because it doesn't have a speck of shimmer in it and blends really well as a contour. It can be a little pricey though so if you're buying a product purely for the purpose of chest enhancement, there are some more affordable options.

Australis make an awesome mineral bronzer which is perfect to use all over the body. Plus, it will last forever. Image via Australis Cosmetics

I would also highly recommend the Australis Cosmetics Mineral Jumbo bronzer. I've had mine for years and it's the perfect shade for this look; not too muddy, no hint of orange.

Step two

You'll then need to find a very narrow brush, like NARS Ita Kabuki brush (or a cheaper fan brush available at any makeup store or Priceline) which will help you sculpt curves and lines, giving the effect of voluptuous boobies. Look for something with densely packed fibres which will allow you to despot colour exactly where you want to, rather than provide a light wash.

I'd suggest doing the contouring make up while in the bra you plan on wearing as this will help guide where you should be applying your product.

Step three

Following the natural curve of your breasts, apply a decent amount of bronzer over the top and down the middle of your chest. Try and keep the colour in a curved line from your armpit, arched over like a rainbow to the middle of your breasts.  Don't worry if the line looks harsh, you can blend it out later. Do the same on the other side. Aim to get the most colour in between your boobs to create an illusion of a massive abyss in cleavage town.

Step four

Using a large powder brush or foundation brush you can gently buff out any harsh lines but don't undo all your hard work.

Step five

For the highlighting part of the great makeover you can either use a very light shade of cream concealer like Maybelline's Cover Stick Concealer or, if you don't mind a bit of shimmer, a pearlescent highlighter like MAC's Soft & Gentle will do the trick. Use a small brush to apply the highlighter to the top of your breasts where the light would hit naturally.

By all accounts, Kanye is reportedly pleased, although perhaps Kim's new look is merely an attempt to get him away from the mirror and back focused on her. Remember, no one loves Kanye as much as Kanye loves Kanye. A close second however might be Kim's mammary makeup and new 'do.

Here are some other celebs who have gone the chop a la Kim in 2015
