Microsoft created a bra to make you thinner. (It is also really stupid).

The genius nerds at Microsoft have come together and used their collective brain power to invent something other than a computer. It’s a bra designed to make women thinner. Well, it’s a ‘Smart’ bra (things sound high-tech when you put the word ‘smart’ in front of them), designed to track women’s stress so it can warn them not to overeat. Because everybody knows that a woman who dares to mess with her perfect body NEEDS HELP IMMEDIATELY. The bra came about because of a study called “Food and Mood: Just-in-Time Support for Emotional Eating,” which was written by researchers from Microsoft Research, the University of Rochester and the University of Southampton. Yeah. Teams from Microsoft and TWO universities put a significant amount of time and money into this. Cancer can wait you guys – ladies need a bra that tells them not to eat cake. Take a look at what they came up with:

The bra “contains removable sensors that monitor heart and skin activity to provide an indication of mood levels.” “Mood data was provided to the wearer via a smartphone app in order to highlight when “emotional eating” was likely to occur.” So this is basically a heart-rate monitor that rests on your boobs.
