If your kids love singing in the car, then you need this show in your life.

Australia is captivated by the spinning red chairs on The Voice and who can blame us?

We all love a singing competition! Just like pizza, even when it’s bad it’s just so good.

Well, now’s your chance to warm up your vocals and sing along with Mamamia’s kids’ podcast The Beanies. We can’t promise chairs will spin but we can promise your head won’t.

So, The Beanies is a podcast that kids love and is especially great listening for the school holidays and road trips. So get ready to sing, sing, sing! Actually, sing as badly as you want, there’s no negative judges giving feedback on this show.

Episode six of is all about, you guessed it, singing!

Hosts Michael, Laura and Mim talk the kids through how music actually works. They also give us a lesson on why some notes are high and some are low and Professor Know-It-All explains pitch and harmony. Phew. That’s a lot of info. Oh and this episode features the original song “Sing in Harmony.”

The Beanies podcast is another chance to get kids off devices and singing instead. 12 minutes of singing on a podcast! That’s just about the perfect amount. Right mums and dads?
