Wunderlist is like heaven for the organisational freaks among us. You can plan lists in categories (like “work”, “wedding”, “weekend”) and then share them with people. Plus, it syncs to your phone and tablet instantly. As you complete your day to day tasks, a little circle fills to show you how much you have done. So. Satisfying.

When you're in a place you don't know well, Around Me will save you loads of time. You just type in what you need and it will show you...well...what's around you.

From bars to cinemas, petrol stations and hospitals, it's handy if you're travelling, or if you don't want to waste your time googling everything.

 3. Pomodoro Timer Pro

Based on the Pomodoro Technique, which involves setting out the tasks you're working on, and using timers to ensure you're productive, this app will tell you when to take short and long breaks.

It sounds annoying, but it is so simple to use, and it helps you to keep concentration up, according to the rules of science. Your devices will automatically sync.
