The Bachelorette's Georgia and Lee confirm happy news "we will get married."

They found love on The Bachelorette, and now Georgia Love and Lee Elliot have hinted that an engagement and a wedding will soon be on the cards.

Yes, this is possibly the most exciting news we’ve heard all week.

Speaking to Woman’s Day, Georgia said that she “definitely” wants to marry her 35-year-old Bachelorette beau.

"I can see us getting married, and we will," Lee added.

Clear your schedules, everyone, because we NEED to be free when this very important dates rolls around.

It’s so hard to know what to say in this instance. What I’d originally thought I’d be posting today was a gushy message all about love, butterflies, fireworks and just how happy @leeroyelliott makes me every day and how lucky I feel to have found the love of my life through this crazy experience. And while all of this couldn’t be more true, it’s not the most important thing to say right now. What should be one of the most exciting weeks of my life has instead turned into one of the hardest with my family going through something no one ever wants to face. But a small solace I can find in this extremely difficult time is that I have this amazing man by my side and for that I feel so lucky. He’s been so incredibly supportive and loving and managed to make me smile and laugh every day despite everything else. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us and followed my story. The messages of love and support have been overwhelming and so so humbling. Thank you thank you, from the bottom of my heart ❤️

If Georgia and Lee were to become Mr. and Mrs. Love (because, he would totally take her surname, obviously) they would be the first couple from the Bachelor franchise to tie the knot.

(Assuming they hit the alter before Sam and Snez...giddy up!)

Sam and Snez have some competition in race down the Bachelor aisle!

After it was revealed that Lee was Georgia's last man standing, he responded to rumours that the pair had already married.

"I can categorically say there is not a wedding ring on my finger," Lee told Mamamia, adding that if and when he was to marry Georgia, he would want to "do it right".

"Georgia and I have talked about this...I’m not just going to do things because society says at this age I should be married and I should have kids," he said.
