The Bachelorette's Courtney finally tells his side of why it didn't work out with Georgia.

Take a deep breath, everybody. Because Georgia Love finally did what many Aussie women had been begging her to do since day dot on The Bachelorette and sent Courtney packing.

Think what you will about Courtney. Love him, or hate him, there’s no denying that in last night’s episode, he was pretty darn honest.

But in the wake of being sent home after the pivotal hometown visits, Courtney has said he was always unsure about Georgia's true feelings.

"It was very hard to read," Courtney told TV Week of the constant struggle to understand how Georgia was feeling about him throughout the competition.

"You’d see Georgia go off with one of the boys and she’d give them the same looks that she’d give you and the same laughs and the same emotions. And you’d go, ‘Oh okay, she looks like she’s giving him the exact same level of emotion that she’s giving me'," he said.

"Then you’d see her with someone else. Then you’d have a conversation with her and she’d always be up and positive and amazing.

"She was extremely hard to read. I was consistently second-guessing where I sat with her."

Being one of the final four remaining in the competition, Courtney admitted that he found it hard to pinpoint which of the guys she liked more.

Despite the backlash from many fans about his at times very confusing behaviour, the 30-year-old said he was "100% myself, 100% honest" and wouldn't change a thing.

See which guys are still in the competition for Georgia's heart./em>
