The first six Bachelor in Paradise contestants have been confirmed and it's all we dreamed.

For months we heard rumours Bachelor in Paradise was coming to our screens – and last month it was confirmed.

Now, we know six of the bachelors and bachelorettes who will be mingling on a beach somewhere tropical next year and no doubt getting into all kinds of saucy trouble.

The good news is, it’s all we hoped and dreamed. Many of the people us Bach fans have been crying out to see more of will be back.

Tara Pavlovic, Keira Maguire, Davey Lloyd, Apollo Jackson, Laurina Fleure and Michael Turnbull are all confirmed to be back on our screens next year.

Only those with very short memories won’t be familiar with 2017 second runner-ups Tara and Apollo. But, in case you need a refresh: Davey was sent home in Sam Frost’s inaugural Bachelorette season in 2015, while Keira was everyone’s favourite no-bulls**t teller competing for Richie Strahan last year. Michael, of course, being the man who just edged out Richie to come second place when vying for Sam.

And who could forget Laurina, the original dirty street pie-hating boss who dodged a bullet not ending up with Blake Garvey in 2014.

So far the cast is pretty spectacular. We can’t wait to see who is announced next, and we are already taking guesses at who will hook up with who. Tara and Apollo? Micheal and Keira? The possibilities are endless.

And let’s not forget what this also means, of course – anyone betting Tara or Apollo would be the next Bachelorette and Bachelor, just lost 20 bucks.
