I am fed up with male politicians putting down women who finally make it into a leadership role. Take Carmen Lawrence, Cheryl Kernot and Joan Kirner for instance who all came unstuck because of men who sort to do everything they could to undermine those women's positions. Who is fed up with the mantra of "Great big new tax" and the scare campaign being waged by Tony Abbot and his cronies about every new initiative that Julia and her team propose? Don't forget girls we too have powerful weapons called "the vote" and "a brain". Don't be intimidated by these scare tactics. Let common sense and compassion for fellow Australians who have suffered during the floods and those refugees desperate to be part of our society prevail. Women want to create a better future for their children so if that means paying a bit extra to help those less fortunate or clean up the polluted earth it's worth it.
As far as I'm concerned Mr Abbott isn't screaming anywhere near as loudly as I am! I want this Government GONE - NOW - TODAY!!
Ann, I don't have time to set you straight but I can tell you that taxing Australians and pushing businesses overseas is not going to leave our children with a cleaner world, just a poorer Australia.
