Anne Hathaway beats the paparazzi at their own game with a beautiful baby bump photo.

Take note — it’s never a good idea to try and out-manoeuvre Catwoman.

Everybody’s favourite teen princess turned Oscar winner Anne Hathaway has shared a lovely photo of her burgeoning baby bump on a beach.

The expectant mum posted the picture to Instagram, saying she was happy to release it on her own terms.

Happy 2016 to my beautiful Instafriends! So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed. I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent.
