Tim and Anna met on The Bachelor in 2013. Now, the tabloids have decided they've split.

Deep breaths, people. There’s no need to panic or whip out the tissues.

No, the rumours aren’t true – Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich are still very much together, thank you very much.

In the past few weeks, The Bachelor couple have been subject to countless rumours about their alleged ~break-up~.

And after arriving at the Melbourne Cup separately on Tuesday, the tabloids took the rumours to the next level.

According to the Daily MailNeighbours actor Robards was spotted “looking rather glum” at Flemington Racecourse, while not wearing his wedding ring.

The pair also didn’t post any couple shots from the Melbourne Cup, which further incited the rumours… despite the fact that Heinrich was actually working at the event as an MC at Myer’s Fashions on the Field. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

During the event, Robards responded directly to the break-up rumours, telling the Daily Mail why he had arrived at the Melbourne Cup alone.

“I’m not in a hotel [with Anna] because Monday to Friday I live down here, but she is only here a couple of days,” he told the publication.

The couple’s living situation was first brought into the spotlight last week when Heinrich’s Trial By Kyle co-star Kyle Sandilands claimed that the couple’s marriage will “never be right”.

“This morning, I had her on my radio show, and I said: ‘What’s the deal with your husband living in Melbourne trying to be an actor on Neighbours?’ and she said: ‘He’s signed for a year’,” Sandilands said on The Project.

“I feel there’s trouble there,” he added. “Watch that space. Something’s going on!”

According to Robards, however, it’s clearly not the case.

Robards and Heinrich met on the very first season of The Bachelor Australia in 2013.

When Heinrich went on the reality show, she was working as a high-profile criminal lawyer. Robards, on the other hand, was working as a chiropractor.

Following their time on the show, their respective careers (…and their lists of reality TV appearances) have grown enormously.

In 2015, the couple appeared on the first season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! as intruders. Robards also competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2015 and competed on Australian Ninja Warrior twice.

Heinrich, on the other hand, has appeared on Trial By Kyle as well as The Real Dirty Dancing.

Anna Heinrich spoke to Mamamia’s daily entertainment podcast The Spill about all things Trial By Kyle. Post continues after podcast.

Four years after meeting on The Bachelor, Robards and Heinrich announced their engagement in May 2017.

The next year, in June 2018, the couple wed in Italy, making them the first couple from The Bachelor Australia franchise to get married.

Just months later, however, the newlyweds took their relationship long-distance when Robards scored a role on Neighbours.

As filming for Neighbours is based in Melbourne and Heinrich’s work is based in Sydney, the pair are currently based in separate states.

“It’s extremely hard, but we’re both extremely busy with our own projects,” Heinrich told NW last August.

“Obviously we just got married, so that doesn’t make things easy, but at the same time I speak to him all day every day.”

Speaking to Now To Love in April, Heinrich reiterated that the couple’s marriage can withstand the distance between them.

“People think it’s an issue but it’s not,” the 32-year-old said.

“[Tim] comes back every weekend and we speak to each other four to five times a day. It’s really not an issue and I think it’s only an issue if you want to make it an issue,” she added.

“You just roll with it and do what you can. I’m not going to sit at home and be upset about it. I’m going to be happy that he’s doing what he loves to do, and I’m doing what I love to do.”

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph at the end of last year, Heinrich also shared that the couple are already thinking about having children together in the near future.

“A family has always been part of our life plan,” she said at the time.

“It will probably be towards the end of this year that we start trying.”
