Everything you need to know about the new season of The Amazing Race Australia.

Strap yourselves in.

After a five year hiatus, The Amazing Race Australia is finally returning to our screens.

The reality game show, which hasn’t been on air since 2014, originally aired for three seasons on Channel Seven and was hosted by New Zealand-Australian actor Grant Bowler.

Now, the series is returning to Channel 10 with former NRL player and television personality Beau Ryan at the helm.

Watch the trailer for the upcoming season of The Amazing Race Australia below. Post continues after video.

In its fourth season, the reality show will feature 11 Australian couples who are pushed to their limits in a series of bizarre challenges in the hopes of taking home the $250,000 prize money.

Across three continents, the competing teams will put their relationships to the test as they deal with terrifying skydives, jetpacks, failed camel rides, tense arguments and of course, painfully slow cab rides. (Would it really be The Amazing Race without tense cab rides?!)

According to 10 Daily, more than 270 cab rides and almost 300 flights were taken during the season. Yep, it sounds… intense.

This time around, the diverse cast includes married couples, colleagues, close friends, family members and even two Missionaries of God’s Love Sisters.

“The other teams might be a bit threatened by us, because we’ve got the big fella on our side,” one of the Sisters said in the promo.

Here’s everything we know so far about this season’s contestants:
