It was the golden age of fashion (sun flower hats), make up (blue mascara) and most importantly: female TV and movie characters.

Kat Stratford had some shit going on but she wasn’t worried about a leaked nude pic or whether she had a thigh gap. And Buffy was too busy kicking vampire butt to select the perfect Instagram filter for her belfie.

From Sabrina the Teenage Witch to Rachel Green, these were the women we wanted to be when we decided to grow up.
