Whether you use animal, car or princess figurines, your kids will go wild for these adorable DIY toy ornaments from Hi Sugarplum.
Why I love it: This was such a fun project for my daughter and I to do together, and she loves having her very own tree in her room. I love overhearing her imagination at work when she plays with the little animals.
What you'll need:
Package of plastic animals from craft store
Spray primer
Acrylic craft paints
Screw eyes hooks (found in the picture-hanging dept)
Mini jingle bells
Embroidery thread or yarn for hanging
Drill with 1/16-inch drill bit
Step 1:
Gently drill a pilot hole in the top of each ornament.
Step 2:
Screw in the eye hooks.
Step 3:
Prime the animals with hooks and allow to dry completely.
Step 4:
Paint them with assorted bright colours.
Step 5:
Once dry, thread jingle bells on a piece of cut string, and tie through the hook on the animal.
You're done!
Hang from your tree and enjoy!
