The video that proves that being fit has nothing to do with looking fit.

You know what fitness and exercise should be?

A time when no one gives a shit about your hair. A time when it’s okay to sweat down your cleavage, to wear unflattering leggings and over-sized t-shirts (that may or may not have dribble down the front).

And a time when it is completely okay to grunt in public.

But do you know what fitness often is?

Nothing. It’s not doing any exercise – or not doing what we’d really like to do – because we’re too scared we’re going to look stupid when we try. It’s being worried that not being able to do 50 push ups like the #fitspo chicks on Instagram will make us somehow less worthy of a place at the gym.

This is the funniest post we’ve ever read about avoiding the gym.

You know how sometimes you just need a little kick up the arse to remind you that women really are freaking awesome, no matter your size, age, level of coordination or level of fitness?

This Girl Can campaign

This campaign was developed in the UK after it was revealed that 75% per cent of women wish they could get out there and do MORE. It will make you want to chuck on your sneakers and just get out there. Today.

NSFW: Fitness friends. Is is too much to ask that you keep your damn clothes on?

We think it’s the best form of #fitspo we’ve ever seen.

Speaking of fitness inspo that doesn’t make us feel worse about ourselves, we love these straight-talking motivational posters.
