Every day I watch my young children sitting on their butts hardly moving, except for their fingers frantically working remotes, keyboards, controls and pads.

Kids’ lives sure have changed in the past 30 years. And they’re definitely not getting as much activity as they used to.

The reality is that technology is here to stay. But that doesn’t mean our children have to become unhealthy hermits. As parents, we have the power to turn this around. We set the example and provide the guidance so our young children develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
