Sigh. And so it begins. Morons who should just shut their cake holes are getting in a twist about Michelle Obama not covering her arms. Oh wait. Did I miss the part where WE ALL GOT TRANSPORTED BACK TO THE 1920s IN A TIME CAPSULE??????
The Huffington Post reports:
The First Lady impressed many, but also made a few waves on Tuesday night when she broke with tradition and wore a sleeveless Narciso Rodriguez dress
to the President's address before Congress. Opinion was divided over
whether it was appropriate to show so much skin at such a ceremonial
event.
"'Does the lady not understand that these Big Speech Events are serious and important? Not a cocktail party?'" wrote one Chicago Tribune reader. "''The season is winter. The occasion is business. Dress was wrong place and time.'"
Social Secretary Desiree Rogers defended the decision, telling the Washington Post that Mrs. Obama's feeling is "If I want to wear no sleeves to hear my husband speak, that's what I'm going to do."
Yeeee-ha to that.
Well they had to pick on Michelle for something didn’t they. That’s all they got, her lovely toned arms. So ridiculous those journalists should be sacked. Michelle is such a breath of fresh air for the US, don’t condemn her appreciate her for being the woman that she is. More power to you Michelle!

What a load of total crap these people go on with!! Michelle’s beautifully toned arms were one of the first things I noticed about her. They’re graceful and elegant – as is she – and if she wants to show them off at “posh” occasions, in pretty sleeveless frocks, then more power to her.
As Lesley says, don’t people have anything more important to talk about? Some people are only happy when they’re whinging. Next they’ll be saying she should wear a burka.
It’s so refreshing to have a young and stylish First Lady in the White House, especially with a couple of hugely appealling young daughters. I’m sick of all these old geezers teetering on the brink of senility, propped up by steely middle aged wives. Go Michelle!!

Maybe she’s a hot person and doesn’t like to overheat. I am a hot person and in the dead of winter I might put on a 3/4 sleeve. When I first heard about this the other day I was amazed…do people have nothing better to think about?
But then I thought, what else do they have on her? Nothing. So let’s start trying to denigrate her as being inappropriate in her clothing choices.
It’s all crap. She looks fantastic. The silver sparkly dress with the pearls was perfect for the formal dinner with all the state governors..(I think that was the occasion) and the other dresses are classic and timeless…
