According to D-Listed, actress Illeana Douglass (who I love – she was Nicole Kidman's sister-in-law in To Die For) was on Chelsea Lately recently talking about how she carries signs with her in case the papparazzi are having a slow day and decide to photograph her.

If you can get past the weird way she looks and sounds a lot like her BFF Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts is lovely.
I adore Iliana Douglas! Very funny, talented actress. She had a few cameos in the Six Feet Under Series and has been in other films of course. Pity we didn’t see more of her instead of the overrated “stars” that get used time and time again who are indeed neither funny nor talented. What she has done in this pic would be so her. I love it! Maybe if others did it the whole paparazzi would have to look for new jobs! Doubt it though – as much as most of them whine about it they love the promotion for their current movies and of course their egos unless they are having a bad day and then they get cranky!
I agree 100% with both Rene and Miss Sandi’s comments, and have often wondered why other celebs haven’t done this more often.

Illeana Douglas rocks – I’ve seen her in a few movies, and she’s a very funny chick. This is a great idea. It’s like she’ saying “Please. I know you’re there. Why don’t you take your camera and do something useful with it. Because in the great scheme of things, me having a latte with my friend is not that newsworthy or important.” And of course, she’s right. Except about the coffee. Coffee is very important.
