Sophie Monk's recreation of the 'wardrobe meltdown' video has everyone in stitches.

It was the video that stopped the nation: Channel Nine anchor Amber Sherlock and panelist Julie Snook having a heated discussion about the fact they were both wearing white on camera.

While preparing for the Chat Room panel segment, alongside their guest Sandy Rae, Sherlock took issue with the fact that Snook was also wearing a white blouse.

Awwwwwwkward! (Image: Channel Nine)

"I need Julie to put a jacket on because we're all in white; I asked her before we came on," Sherlock is heard telling producers.

Sherlock has since admitted that she "probably overreacted" to the situation, telling Nine Honey that live TV can be a "pretty stressful beast".

Now that we know there are no hard feelings between the pair, the parodies can begin.

Enter Sophie Monk, who we can always count on to put a smile on our faces.

The radio host and TV presenter teamed up with her best friend Oscar Gordon - the pair are both currently on a Canadian ski holiday - to present their own version of the 'meltdown'.

Despite the fact Gordon is wearing a blue chambray shirt in the video, Sophie still tells him to "put a jacket on".

"It doesn't look [blue], it looks white," Sophie said, trying to hide a smile.

If anyone knows the importance of getting the wardrobe right for a TV appearance, it's Sophie.

And...all is right in the world once again. Phew. (Image: Instagram)

The 37-year-old said she "couldn't help herself" when it came to creating the parody, and also captioned the video with "#teamamber" and "#teamjacket".

Monk's 152,000 fans were loving her latest comedic performance.

"THIS IS SOOO AMAZING" wrote one fan, while another said, "this is brilliant...made my day."

If Sophie's taught us anything, it's that we never truly know what goes on behind the scenes of our favourite TV programs.
