The 'Sunrise' celebrity interview that got very awkward, very quickly.

You know those times that make you physically cringe, as your body recoils and your eyes furrow into a concerned look of both sympathy and a bit of embarrassment for the person who just definitely said the wrong thing?

This is one of those times.

Sunrise‘s interview with Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children Eva Green today left us feeling, well, a little confused.

Considering Green plays a headmistress with the ability to transform into a peregrine falcon in the new film, reporter Steve Hargrave thought a direct line of questioning surrounding the hypotheticals of being a bird was a good way to play it.

“And if you were a bird, anyone in the world, whose head would you poo on?” he asked Green.

Cue: confusion.

“What? If I were a … WHAT?” the clearly puzzled actress responded.

“If you were a bird, who’s head would you poo on? Anyone … in the world ...” Hargrave continued, because of course, persistence is key.

Green repeated, “If I were a bird … sorry, my brain. The blood has stopped going to my brain.”

Us too, us too.

Unfortunately, Hargrave found out the hard way that perhaps not every question or hypothetical flies (pun intended, thanks very much) in a celebrity interview. Moral of the story: poo is not always the ultimate conversation starter.
