Want new hair? Win a hair makeover from L’Oreal …..

So time for another bit of hair discussion on Mamamia.  Timely really because I have been thinking a lot about my hair lately. That is, when I haven’t been thinking about this, this or this.  This post brought to you by L’Oreal INOA is about hair make-overs and three  MM reader are going to win a free one from L’Oreal INOA (the hair colour that is fabulous and doesn’t smell bad). To give you the details, I’m going to hand over to one of Mamamia’s  product experts Moira…….

.

You will remember last month we had a post on How to break up with your hairdresser? Seems that it is not that uncommon a phenomenon and statistically speaking women WILL change their hairdresser for a better cut and colour.  And of course people do change hairdresser if the salon they are using does not stock the product they want.  Phew!  Makes me feel like less of a traitor.

Armed with all this information and after reading all the forums and reviews on the internet, and of course listening to all my word of mouth recommendations I am able to make my hairdresser change with an informed and clear conscience.  So now I am quietly confident that I can leave George* because I have been having a lot of bad days lately.

You know those days when you look in the mirror and rub your eyes hoping that when you look again it will be different?  You know those mornings that your hair is just too long and needs to be cut yesterday?  Or even worse when you wake up and you go to the mirror wishing that the haircut you had yesterday was just a bad dream?

As I said, I have been having these days quite a bit.  Less like bad hair days and more like “I’m not leaving the house with this hair” days.  The thing is that your hair can really make or break your look (let alone your day).  Healthy, shiny hair that co-operates is like having an added advantage, I get a spring in my step when I am actually happy with what the hair on my head is doing.  I feel confident and I am sure that it shows in the way I tackle my day.

In fact when I am having a good hair day, also known as an “I want the world to see me today” day, I can understand people that have plastic surgery.  Now I’m not advocating surgery, but I am also not insulting it or even casting aspersions at people who use it to correct something that they are not happy with.

To me surgery to improve your look or correct an imperfection is the same as having colour on your hair – just a whole lot less painful and expensive.

And it is not just about bad hair days.  Some days I just want a complete change – I want to be more authoritative, I want to appear older, I want to be dramatic or cause a stir.  And I don’t want surgery and I don’t want my face completely changed. Hell, sometimes I just want to be Drew Barrymore, but with which head of hair?-

.

I wonder how she keeps her hair so healthy? Is it even healthy?  Does she use a product like INOA that respects the hair fibre (you remember we learned that last month!).  She should. Everybody should respect their hair and with L’Oreal INOA it is easy.

L’Oreal INOA uses a unique Oil Delivery System that allows permanent hair colour without harsh effects on the hair and there is absolutely no smell or discomfort caused by ammonia.  The result is hair that is not as damaged by the colouring process, it is shinier, smoother and more sleek and healthy looking than if coloured with traditional permanent colour.

Have you made the change to a salon that uses INOA ?

How does your hairstyle reflect who you are ?  Has your hair style changes as you changed jobs/grew older or had kids.   And what is the best “pep me up” you can do with your hair.
