The Venice Film Festival kicked off last week and it seems that everyone has been speaking about Kate Winslet’s “optical illusion dress”.
Kate wore a figure-hugging Stella McCartney shift dress for the premiere of her mini-series Mildred Pierce. The nude and cream dress had black panels at either side, which created the illusion of an especially tiny waist. The cutaway neckline showed off her shoulders and the white panel around the bust made the most of her natural curves.

Abbie Cornish in the black topped white skirted evening gown looked gorgeous, but my favourite would have to be Evan Rachel Wood in the 40's evening gown, simply stunning!
They're all so beautiful!! For their own reasons, too. I love that we can appreciate different body shapes, and look to the healthy glowing woman behind it all!
