Supermodels without makeup and without Photoshop – it’s not something you see very often.
But check out these photos (with a certain “surprise” thrown in)
Shots of Louis Vuitton’s fall/winter 2010 runway team have been compared with different images of the same models. The clean-look photos are standard in the modelling industry.

Well, the lesser known catwalk models aren’t drop dead gorgeous without make-up, but that’s not news. Rosie, Adrianna, Catherine and so on are absolutely gorgeous without a scrap of make-up.

LOL at the end XD

Wow, amazing what a ‘bit’ of makeup can do. They’re all still interesting/ beautiful looking girls without it but look like a lot of people I see day to day wandering around the city. I think it’s good for women to see these sorts of pics, makes us realize that models aren’t so different to us after all.

hmm, gotta say, that didnt do as much for my self esteem as i was hoping. they still look pretty damn stunning.

Can’t agree Ella. They are infinitely hotter in the second photo.

Models don’t need to be pretty, they just need to be in proportion. Added that they all have beautiful big lips, symetrical eyes and nice straigh noses means make up, lighting and photo-shopping are easy things to add as the final product. Frustrating….

I feel like an idiot! Have us men been taken for a ride all these years? I knew makeup and photoshopping made a difference, but woah mamma! I’m off models now. Just normal faces for me.

Wow. I knew about photoshop and make up and lighting and considered myself savvy when it comes to looking at images of beautiful women in ads. But wow.
They are still stunning, for sure, but the beauty looks more realistic, more attainable, natural. Not some crazy unheard of freak of nature an ordinary woman could never come close to.
Makes me feel better, but not in a ‘they are uglier than I thought’ way, in a positive way, just makes it all seem more realistic.
Love the photogenic guy.

Ridiculously Photogenic Guy at the end made me burst out laughing!!!!
It’s amazing how normal those models look without make-up – still beautiful of course, but normal as well.

Some of them look like completely different people! Makes me wonder what I’d look like with glamour makeup.

A glamour make up shoot is heaps of fun and the photos are usually amazing. You just have to remember that it took 2-3 hours of serious primping to look like that

Such a nice surprise to get to the bottom of this article and see nice comments. Good on you ladies! We don’t need to put other women down to feel good about ourselves.
I also think these women still look beautiful and unique. But it is interesting to see how much their looks change with photoshop & makeup.

One thing I notice about all of them is they have really distinctive lips!

I still think they look amazing – I do struggle with comparisons but it’s more to do with people I know rather than supermodels…
