They’re the make up mistakes Reddit users named among their biggest pet peeves. When YouTube beauty guru Sharon Farrell saw the thread she was inspired to turn it into a video.
From Cruella de Ville eyebrows to Pamela Anderson-style lips, it’s mesmerising to watch Farrell transform her face into a complete mess. Take a look:
Farrell emphasizes in her video description that it’s all in good fun and not meant to be offensive. I’m also guilty of one of these make up pet peeves; I don’t blend my waterline eyeliner. Cue: gasp, shock, horror.

Hilarious stuff...........she has actually touched on most of the obvious touches that women think are "enhancements".......lol.
She did end up looking like a Drag Queen (not that there's anything wrong with that) except that it's usually a look that's intended as theatrical and humorous.
My least favourite look is the one adopted by a lot of ageing overly-bleached blondes in recent years..........make-up base way too dark (makes wrinkles even darker).........shocking blue eye-shadow and that black eyeliner both above and below the lashes............those darkly lined white lips are a kak !
The really bizarre one is those eyebrows !
Unless they've got poor eyesight I've done a "survey of one" over the years about eyebrows............the more peculiar they are - the less stable women seem to be.
Too harsh ?.............next time you notice weird eyebrows, really check out their personalities....lol.
Oh, and hair that's too short for the shape of their face - even in men.
It can actually be ageing and (in some) kind of fattening - if that's what they want of course.........but I'm always shocked by the difference just an inch of extra hair at the back can make to appearances.
Facial hair is interesting too.
Moustaches on men can be VERY ageing - when I've suggested those men grow a goatee, it seems to take years off their faces,.......although maybe it's a fashion/age perception thing.
I personally love beards - my husband has always worn one since he was 22yrs...........he has a cute face under that facial hair though.
I've been involved as a make-up artist on many of our production company's shoots so this is an area I'm truly keen on.......I've also had to transform my own appearance several times as an actress so make-up /hair have been fascinating "tools".
Next time you want a fun time out shopping, try popping into a wig shop and put on some different "looks" - take a friend.....take photos (but try not to try the patience of the sales person)....lol.
