Today we’re rolling out the red carpet at Mamamia HQ because we have a real life, A-list celebrity coming to tea.
No biggie. That’s just how we roll.
On the weekend we’re grabbing a coffee with Brad and Angelina (I prefer soy milk, just like Ange), before catching a movie with Anne Hathaway (don’t you just hate it when you go to the cinema with someone IN the actual film?) and dining with Gwyneth (Paltrow, you might have heard of her?)
Be cool guys, be cool because this morning Australia’s very own Naomi Watts will be popping in for an interview with the Mamamia team.
And we want to know, if you could ask Naomi Watts one question, what would it be? Because now is your chance.
Leave your question in a comment below or email jasmine@mamamia.com.au. We want every question you can think of from who is her style icon, to what’s the worst thing about being an Aussie overseas to what was it like playing Princess Diana?
Bring. It. On.
Naomi will also be chatting with us about her role as an ambassador for Pantene Beautiful Lengths – a campaign that encourages women to grow, cut and donate their hair to be turned into real-hair wigs for women undergoing cancer treatments. Awesome. To find out more about the initiative, or to get involved, click here.
In the meantime, we’ve done a bit of style stalking and put together four of our favourite Naomi-inspired outfits. Can you tell we’re just a little bit excited?

Huge fan here. Your acting made me realise what real acting actually is. Have enjoyed all your movies, very intense choices. Keep up the great work and my fave movie of yours is: Mother and Child. I’ve raved about it on MM before. I’m glad you didn’t give up acting and success has come your way. Gush Gush!

A lot of Australian celebrities have said the paparazzi are a lot more intrusive and intense back on home turf than anywhere else in the world. Do you find this too?

You stole my question!
Please, please ask this question.

Who’s the rudest celebrity she’s ever met?

Best question, I’d love to know the answer to this but they never talk about each other that way in Hollywood. It’s always “oh she was so lovely to work with.”

What’s her all time favourite movie that she can watch over and over again?

A quick Google tells me she played Julie Gibson for 18 episodes of Home and Away in 1991 (about 4-5 weeks)
In light of a certain actress’s recent tantrum over reference to this, how does Naomi feel about *her* time on this soapie? Is she at all embarrassed about that? Or does it bring back fond memories?

Have any of the roles she’s played on TV or in a movie changed her as a person? What role had the biggest impact on who she is.
And … what song will she always get up and dance to when it comes on.

I had a small speaking part in the film ‘Flirting’ twenty-odd years ago (most of which ended up on the cutting room floor!), and remember most of the cast including Naomi Watts being so lovely on set (not naming names, but there was one actress who wasn’t so nice, and she’s the only one who hasn’t gone on to greater acting success…
).
I have always been interested to know what the years were like between the time Naomi left Australia (as a pretty big local star) and the time she found international fame and recognition with ‘Mulholland Drive’. I imagine it must have been a hard time, and I’d love to know what kept her motivated, and whether she ever considered throwing in the towel, or whether she had some inner certainty that she would eventually make it big in Hollywood?
And I’d also just like to say congratulations to Naomi on a brilliant career so far. I think she’s one of our most talented actresses, and love watching her on screen!

This might sound a wee bit obscure but it’s a question I’ve always wanted to ask her! Re: Funny Games – what was it like filming such a harrowing film? I’ve always been intrigued by the scene immediately following [spoiler alert?] the son’s death, where there is a very long, drawn-out shot of Naomi and Tim processing the loss. What was the mood like on set, and how many takes were needed to get it right?

So did she ever end up having a lamb roast with Nicole and Tom ? That’s my question!
