Gotye (he sings somebody i used to know), Really, well if we knew him for anything other than this one song that is all most people know from commercial radio you wouldn’t have to write something so insulting. This very well accomplished artist won male artist of the year in 2007 (an ARIA award but not to mention his many other accomplishments) but now hes the “somebody i used to know guy”. How embarrassing and insulting.

‘Hearts a Mess’ is one of my fave songs of all time. Agree that he’s an amazing artist and it’s a shame that he’s only known for this one song by the masses. BUT if it exposes more people to his broad range of music then that can only be a good thing right?

Yes, true but i’m still not sure if he wants to be that mainstream, there are plenty of indie/alternative artists that don’t make it commercially but have a massive loyal following. Anyway i cant speak for him though. Agree, Hearts a Mess is one of my fave too. I just wish him lots of success on the back of his total talent not just one song, he deserves it.

I’ve seen photographers call out to a celeb and ask them to pose a particular way (think Jennifer Love Hewitt and her trademark glance back over her shoulder).
Another reason might be that the celeb is doing it unconsciously. I took a stack of photos of my SIL at her baby shower and in *every single one* she has her hand on the bump. She was horrified later – didn’t realise she’d done it!
