just had a similar diisoscsun the other day. my opinion- if what you are doing is a phrase that ends in the word sex, it is sex. whether or not either of you orgasm is unfortunately irrelevant.
wow! a signpost at the local community centre had this done to it a year ago… it now has a soggy bit of yarn at the foot of the sign.. not so pretty anymore, but it was, once.
No way,we just thought we had a local crazy lady who was keeping all the poles warm around here in Trigg,Perth. My daughters love spotting them (one had pompoms attached the other day) and they always put a smile on our dials!
I love these pics! I have seen yarn bombing around Sydney and it is so beautiful and creative.
I can knit/crochet and was thinking of brightening up my suburb with some yarn bombing!
I agree, Sal. As mothers, we alaerdy don’t want to be seen as whingers. We have those thoughts of, this is what I signed up for’. I also think it’s unhealthy to block out certain negative thoughts: the ones that instinctive, telling us to act. The voice in our head that tells us it’s not just a regular cold or teething, but something requiring medical help. Thanks for the compliment, Sal:) Thanks, Katepickle. This writer has really done a major back pedal on this, I’m afraid. She has painted mothers who mention a difficulty as a begrudging martyr, and that her experience is better because she actually’ loves her son, and she’s actually’ positive.Well, ACTUALLY, we all love our kids and try to be as positive as we can. She really needs to hold onto her hat and strap in for the ride of her life Hear Mum Roar s last post ..
VA:F [1.9.17_1161](from 1 vote)Well said, John James. The media and it’s audience are just a bunch of hyitorpces. We’ll pounce on the slightest miss-speak and tear the person into shreds but not even stir in discomfort at shows like The Biggest Loser. Even the name of the show explicitly offends. I used to watch the show but then it occurred to me one day that it was gratuitously profiting from innocents. Anyway, I guess Yumi Steynes can breath a sigh of relief now the heat is off her!
As far as I know, they measure the tree or post or whatever first, then knit/crochet a rectangular sort of shape and then they roughly (and quickly) sew the shape to the tree, post or whatever else.
The title of the original arltcie was enough to stop me reading it. I like your take on it, Sharon, though. But I think when views like Jacinta Tynan’s are expressed the way they are, it makes it even harder for people having a hard time to reach out for help. Not everyone can just chirp themselves up and snap out of it, even if that’s life’. Your humility and gratitude in the face of great blessings and great difficulties is refreshing and beautiful. Thanks for your wonderful blog. Sal xo

I’ve seen a bit of this around Sydney town and it’s awesomesauce! The big ones i.e. tank, bull would be painstaking, so all the more appreciated.

This may seem a silly question… but how do they do that?

We have yarn bombers up here in Brissie in the beautiful, funky suburb of Stones Corner. I love the way it makes the man made landscape more tactile.
