Photos of 5 y/o Brayden's funeral will make you smile and cry.

Brayden Denton only lived to be five-years-old but in his short life he found something he truly loved: superheroes.

Brayden dressed up as Superman when he attended the Superman movie. He had all the Spiderman toys.

He’d watched all the Ironmans with his beloved uncle, Cory Denton. He was delighted to receive a Spiderman cake for his fifth birthday earlier this year.

And when Brayden was diagnosed with a rare form of brain tumour in April 2013 — and the doctors said his condition had a minimal survival rate — the boy used his Make-A-Wish Foundation wish to meet Spiderman at Universal studios.

So when Brayden passed away earlier this month, his family felt there was only one sort of funeral they could plan for this brave little boy. You guessed it: Superhero funeral.

“That’s what Brayden would’ve wanted,” Staci Denton told NY Daily News. “The whole time I saw them carrying Brayden, he was probably up there going, ‘This is so cool,'” she said.

Brayden’s casket was carried to its final resting place by Spiderman, Thor, The Hulk, Superman, Batman and Iron Man.

“He could care less about people being in a suits, ties and dresses,” said Ms Denton, who wore a Spiderman T-shirt to the service. “He was a 5-year-old boy. That’s not what he thought was neat.”
