One of the weirdest, most voyeuristic pastimes that the internet has allowed us to indulge in, is looking at pictures of ordinary people doing bizarre, outrageous, or unbelievable things.
BuzzFeed has compiled a hilarious list of People You Wish You Knew In Real Life, and the reasons why life would be SO much better with these people around.
Check out this must-see gallery.

Whoever this dog walker is, so you can ask how he got so dang cool.
You can see the full selection of pictures here.

Jesus Condom gets my award for the kid most likely to change his name before he turns 18… and rightfully sue his parents.

I wish I knew Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann in real life – double dates with that couple would be the best!!

So is that a party where everyone has to be at the same height? That is classic. And I SOOOO want to be at that party with Neil Patrick Harris and Colbert!
I want to know Tim Minchin in real life. I just think he’s cool

Very funny. I love the camel and the goose the most, they really made me laugh.

Haha LOVE this to end a crazy day. This morning I saw a man, who would’ve been in his early sixties, riding a scooter, in his business suit, down Martin Place! Made my morning

Marshall, lily and the gang

Bill Bryson. I just adore the man.
And Jack Reacher if he was a real person. That’s pretty much my list!

Ohhhh yehhhh, Bill Bryson. Love. I read everything of his over and over and over and ….

Me too! They are my go-to books when I have nothing new to read and they never fail to make me laugh.

Never read anything of his, which book should i start with?

Michelle, any of them! THey are mostly based on his travels so if you want to read about Australia then read Down Under, Britain is Notes from a Small Island, Neither Here Nor There is Europe, and he has a swag of US books. Plus history books about all sorts of things. My personal favorite is A Walk in the Woods. I hope you enjoy him – it can take a little while to ‘get’ his humor and style but it appeals to me so much.

Agreed, but maybe start with down under (start from home).

Any of them!
“A Short History of Nearly Everything” gives you lots of interesting things you never knew before, and it’s FUNNY.

I am reading the Lost Continent at the moment for about the 4th time over the last 15 years or so. I giggle through a lot of it, I just love his turn of phrase!!

His turn of phrase is wonderful, isn’t it? And I love that he finds the most quirky things so fascinating. I also love the way (especially in At Home) he tells you about Joe Bloggs in Chapter 2 who lived at Blah Blah Street and wrote nice poetry, and then 17 chapters, says “Oh remember Joe Bloggs from earlier? He went on to invent [insert amazing technological advancement we couldn't do without]“. His story telling skills are wonderful.

oh my, that guy with his face blown up is creepy!!
as Beckala said below, I’d love to know Zach Braff in person, and Joss Wheden, and Fran Kranz, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hanningan, Nathan Fillion… pretty much anyone associated with Joss Wheden in some way!

Not Nicholas Cage, I’m not a fan – don’t enjoy his acting style.
I’d really love to know Zach Braff. I just get his humour, we have fairly similar taste in music (according to his twitter and facebook – all the artists he mentions I love) and I’d love to shotgun a couple of appletinis with him and just chill out and maybe hang with Chocolate Bear too…

HA! I particularly loved the dog on the slide and the goose. Who exercises with a goose?!

Mozart, Julia Child and Prince Harry….all known for their wicked senses of humour.
