I’m going to start the open post off with whats on my mind this week and I’ll get straight to it, I have technology rage. It seems like the more electronic gadgets and devices I gather, the less patience I have for them. The battery on my iPhone seems to only last half a day (okay so it might have something to do with my Draw Something addiction) and my laptop now randomly shuts down -usually at the most inopportune times, like when I’m mid sentence in an unsaved post. Grrr. I realise it’s a first world problem, but I rely on technology so much to do my job that it’s so frustrating when it doesn’t perform how I expect it to (if someone knows when the iPhone 5 is likely to be released, please let me know in the comments below).
Office life
The behind-the-scenes gallery is my favourite part of the open post. When I was on maternity leave it was my way of keeping in touch with everyone and what they were doing and wearing. You won’t see me in the gallery today, mostly because my under eye bags are bigger than my head (side note: why does eye cream come in such small containers?). I have to admit, I’m a little jealous of Mia who has spent the week down-dogging and being massaged at the glorious Gaia retreat with her Mum.

Managing Editor Lana looking lovely in a Glassons shirt, Sportsgirl pants, Top Shop jacket and Miss Shop shoes.
Mug cakes
Please tell me I’m not the only one who is late to the mug cake party. How did I not know about these sweet little inventions until now? For the uninitiated (like me), a mug cake is a quick tasty dessert you can whip up in under two minutes in the microwave. And the best bit is they’re for one, so you don’t even have to share it. I haven’t tried the recipe yet, but to me they look pretty failproof. Have you made a mug cake, did it work and more importantly did taste good?
Nutella Mug Cake
Ingredients
4 tablespoons self rising flour
4 tablespoons white granulated sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons Nutella
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
Method
1. Combine all ingredients in a large coffee mug. Whisk well with a fork until smooth. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 – 3 minutes (time depends on microwave wattage. Mine took 90 seconds).
2. Top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. Enjoy!
Note: Depending on the wattage of your microwave, you may have to increase cooking time.
Makes 1 very large serving. (Note: our readers have noticed this is indeed a very large serving and suits more like 4-6 people).
Recipe via Babble.
The couples that dress together…
I love this Switcheroo project from self-taught Canadian photographer, Hana. Couples are photographed twice in the exact same spot, but with their clothes switched around. It reminds me of when my husband and I have turned up to social events wearing really similar clothing.

2-year-old covers Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’
This is so cute. I love how into it she gets -even when she doesn’t know the lyrics- it’s as if she knows what all the words mean.
What’s on your mind this week?

OMG you have made my day!!! I have no oven at the moment and now I can make a cake – that is totally amazing timing, thanks
OMM – the autism forum segment on ACA the other night. Sooo not long enough, how about they do a Special Presentation on Autism like the Kony one? From looking at the hundreds of facebook posts to that forum, I had no idea how many parents have ASD kids, many of them have more than one child on the spectrum, and indeed how many children miss out on funding and early intervention. My 6 year old was diagnosed with Aspergers last year, it’s just brought about all kinds of emotions in me.
And I have a Draw Something addiction too!!

You should check out About a Bugg blog – Renee blogs about her experiences with her daughter who was diagnosed a couple of years ago.

I make chocolate mug brownies and they’re divine (especially with a spoonful of vanilla icecream thrown on top to serve.
For one mug:
2 tbsp plain flour, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp cocoa, pinch salt – mix together
Add 1 tbsp veg oil and 1 1/4 tbsp water. Mix thoroughly and microwave for a minute.
Play around with microwaving times to make it firmer or gooier. Mmmmm!

THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!!! Your recipe happens to be vegan
guess what I’m having for dessert tonight!
loading...
Oh yay! How did they turn out? We love them! I especially love them quite runny. I make them with dextrose to be fructose free and they’re still divine!!

mmm and nuts too! that would be divine!

Today is my 27th birthday. I am now in my ‘late twenties’…
I can’t help but feel a little bummed. I can’t help but look at all the things I haven’t achieved yet. I’m not in a relationship, I don’t have kids, I don’t own my own property.
I am trying to think of the things I HAVE achieved though – good career, awesome friends, fantastic family, terrific pet.
Isn’t it funny how when we were kids our birthdays couldn’t come fast enough and as we get older they seem to come TOO fast, lol.
I’ve had a pretty chilled day. I’m a teacher and have tried to plan a cruisy day. Some of my cherubs suprised me by getting me some gifts and the others are trying to give me the present of good behaviour, lol.
Not doing anything too special tonight – I had a dinner with the family over the weekend and got my presents then too.
I’m super looking forward to the weekend. I have a friend flying up and a group of us are staying in the city and having an epic girl’s weekend.
loading...
Happy birthday
hope your day is wonderful (amongst other superlatives)!

Happy Birthday! It was mine yesterday and I turned 26 and I DID EXACTLY THE SAME THING!
I compared myself to my mother at my age – married, baby on the way (not yet a home owner) and got upset I haven’t achieved these things – despite taking 5 years to finish uni (which Mum didn’t do) and having a career (which Mum didn’t have).
Then I realised that we had achieved different things by age 26 and I’m not a failure for not having done what she did- Mum is 51 and just embarking on a uni career and hopefully for me the husband/baby/house will come when it is ready!
p.s you know because your birthday is mid-week you are totally within your rights to claim the entire upcoming weekend as your birthday weekend?!
loading...
Happy birthday Whipper! In fact, I believe this is what you would call a birthday WEEK (all 7 days)!
loading...
Thanks Sarah, I agree birthday WEEK. Mr W got grumpy last year when I tried to see a friend on the Friday night after his birthday, even though we had celebrated his birthday with a dinner the weekend before. I’m taking his words and attitude for myself now
loading...
Happy Birthday, Whipper!!

Enjoy being 26 whipper x

Happy Birthday Genna!
Try not to panic gorgeous. I met my now husband at 26, got married at 30, had our daughter at 33 and recently our son at 37 and I turn 38 soon so everything might just change for you very quickly!
I hope you have a great day
loading...
I know how you feel! I turned 29 yesterday and I was just a little bit panicking about everything I have yet not acheived that I have “planned” to do by the time I am 30 and now I only have 12months to change the world! Then I decided that I was not going to waste the whole day thinking about what could be and enjoy the now … so I set off on a day of shopping and pampering!
Enjoy what you have now and all those other things will happen
loading...
You’re not in your late 20′s till you’re 29. And 3/4.
loading...
Before you know it, trust me, you’ll be in your 30′s and 40′s. A friend told me that when I was 20′something and she was soooo right.
Highly recommend two books:
Goals by Brian Tracy – amazing!!!
How to get from where you to where you want to be – Jack Canfield, also amazing.
If you read these and practice the principles you will feel, and be, on top of the world and be headed towards where you want to be.

Would love a mug cake but don’t own a microwave. This is probably the only time I wish we had one!
OMM: dealing with in laws. I feel really bad because my in laws are wanting to buy lots, do lots, send lots etc for us and bub (9wks to go!) but they keep taking it toooo far or sending us things we’re never going to use. We live in a teeny 2 bedroom apartment in sydney and they live in a massive 5 bedroom house in NQ. They’ve been to our place but I think the concepts of “limited space” and “first time bub, we’d like to do our own thing” are hard for them to grasp.
No matter how many subtle or unsubtle hints we can’t seem to get through to them. I know this isn’t something that should be a problem really but I feel like they’re taking over the fact that its me and my husband having a baby, not them.
The only blessing is the fact they are so far away – god knows how far they’d go if they were still a 10min drive away!!
Also thinking of all my rellies in Townsville. They’re all thankfully ok but some are out helping friends pick up the pieces literally and figuratively which can still be dangerous. Hope they take care.
loading...
Toots, I live in The ‘Ville and we’re all doing ok
. It’s amazing how a community bands together in times of need.
I dont have aby advice but I feel for ya re: the inlaws, mine would be the same (and my SIL does live 10minutes away)

OMM: Solved the bridesmaid & sister drama – my sister is genuinely happy to not have to deal with being a bridesmaid, and honoured to do a reading and a speech in stead, so people know shes my sister, rather than trying to pick her from a line of my friends.
Now I have to turn my attention to finding someone to make my dress. I have fallen ridiculously in love with a dress i found on the internet (and I have tried on similar ones) but its ‘designer’ and a few seasons old, so they dont make it anymore (and I cant afford the $6k pricetag).
People werent kidding when they said that the list of things to organise for a wedding was endless!
loading...
Yay! I’m genuinely thrilled you got the situation with your sister sorted! Good luck on the dress front…
loading...
Thanks Vegas
loading...
I was wondering how it all panned out for you after you posted about it- I’m glad it went well! I am going through a similar situation at the moment and hope all works out for me also x

Happy birthday Whipper! Have a lovely day!
Not much on my mind just enjoying our evening walks with my husband. I love Spring and today was the official first day! Also it is my new year (Norooz or Persian new year), which is celebrated on the first day of spring.
Husband and I celebrated together and I got to speak to my parents and a few relatives over the phone, it’s not the same as celebrating together in person though. I appreciate husband getting into it with me seeing as he didn’t grow up celebrating it.

There is nothing cute or spontaneous about that video. The kid is being prompted. You can hear the faint whisperings of whoever is holding the camera – and the kid keeps looking towards them for approval. It’s just a pathetic attempt at using a 2 year old in order to go viral. Who needs pageants? Someone needs to investigate “YouTube Mums”. Seriously.
loading...
I thought that made it cuter. It sounded like Mum/Dad was giving encouragement while trying hard not to giggle too much
loading...
OMM I’ve just returned back to work after 6 years off to have a few kids. Although i am absolutely loving it, I am so exhausted by the end of the day after picking 3 kids up and doing homework, dinner, baths, stories, washing etc that today i’ve just totally fallen in aheap.
It didn’t help that ive worked through last 4 days incl the whole weekend high on cold and flu tablets. I just need to rest today but with so much washing and other household chores to catch up on I just don’t know where to start!!!
Even though my husband was home on the weekend with the kids he didn’t do any of the normal chores around the house i would have done such as washing, getting school uniforms ready etc. MEN!
I know it was his weekend too, but one load of washing could not have been too hard to hang out.
The good news is i’m using today to give my 2 year old lots and lots of well needed cuddles and I will have finished reading the hunger games by school pick up time
the bad news is i still have not done this mornings breakfast dishes and really don’t want too!
loading...
Are you truly doing baths, dinner, washin up, homework, bedtime etc all on your own?! After working just te same as your husband? Thats not on unless there are some really unique circumstances involved…
And having to do all the housework in the weekend? Seriously, that is all kinds of not okay.
Why is it your job? Because you have a vagina? Does his penis render him unable to contribute equally?
I feel bad for you
I hope things get better once you settle into the new work routine.
loading...
I do all that during the week and I’m exhausted, and I’m a SAHM. I don’t know how you’re doing all that plus going to work – no wonder you’re tired and under the weather!! Hope you’re able to give your husband some subtle hints, or just able to tell him you need some help.

OMM- evil thoughts about clive palmer

We made mug cake on the weekend….I am doing weight watchers at the moment…..you are allowed 26 pro points per day….mug cake was 39 points…was yum but will not be making it again in a hurry!

OMG…. How is the WW pro-points thing going, BTW? Is it working out OK?

Ok MMers I need some health advice please
on Monday our bootcamp class was training at the beach, we chose to train barefoot and now I have these blisters (friction burns?) on my feet on the soft skin under my toes. I live in steelcaps boots and my blisters are all gooey cos they can’t dry out and Im worried about infection, any advice on speeding up the healing process would be awesome! I bought some hydrogen peroxide but I’m a bit hesitant about using it on them…..
Thanks!!
loading...
Ok because im also having gooey foot problems (slow healing after surgery), I can say I have had a lot of success with an antiseptic powder. I use edp which is iodine based. it has stopped my foot being all gross under the bandaging, and I also think the healing has improved immensely
loading...
I have no advice but I feel your pain. Especially because I had an infected blister a few weeks back and honestly thought my foot was going to fall off. Hopefully another MM reader will be able to be more helpful..
loading...
Jess you need to go to the chemist and ask them to get you an appropriate dressing. Keep those suckers dry and barefoot as much as possible. And you can wash with warm salty water (less stinging).
loading...
Vaseline, Vaseline, Vaseline. Yes I know the blisters will feel gooey under your boots, but will limit further damage.
(Experienced hikers and walkers slather their feet with Vaseline before putting their socks on. Prevents blisters in the first place)
Wash the Vaseline off when you get home, dry feet thoroughly, then use Lanacane or Prantal powder.
You can use the peroxide if want, it’s an amazing anaerobic antibacterial – if it fizzes up, then it’s working on GERMS.
But it WILL sting.
Sorry.
loading...
Thanks so much for all the advice and sympathy everyone!
MMers are super amazing
loading...
Gooey yucky foot things are rife in my game. Try soaking them in strong black tea. The tannins dry them right out. Or metho in a spray bottle works well too.
And only wear cotton socks.
loading...
Apple cider vinegar… soak your foot in a tablespoon of that and warm water (in a foot spa if you have one to make it nicer!)
I had terrible blisters all over my feet from netball and this worked an absolute treat!!!
loading...
Mug cake – ftw!! That looks so good. Forever trying to muster up enthusiam with the munchkins for- yay! More tinned fruit for dessert!
Busy week at work. Loving it. Feeling like I’m starting to get the hang of it and showing some productivity.
OMM. My big brother. 2 years ago he sustained a Brain injury after 10 years of drinking. Long story short – we went through a crap 10 months where he was in an out of neuro ICU, then in a rehabilitation facility. Surgeries galore. Seizures galore. We moved him into a unit and there were fantastic support services put in place, however the first day he was on his own, he started drinking again. Broke all our hearts. Anyway – he is on my mind much at the moment – which usually means he’s about to end up in hospital again from a blackout or a seizure. Torn between wanting him to get well for himself, or all his pain ending. Lets hope it the former.

Alcohol is such an evil product, it wrecks people and their families.

Nicky I read an article the other day that to improve your battery power on your iPhone , let it run out completely. Then leave it dead for over an hour ( over night is the only time I can be without my phone for that long, so thats when I did it). Then plug it back in and charge it to 100%, without stopping. This really worked for me and of course another trick is to turn the brightness down to as low as you can handle it. Worked for me!
loading...
Also turn off as many push notifications as possible and reduce automatic mail checking to hourly.
loading...
And don’t run notification services unless you really need to know where you are, then turn it on, it uses heaps in that function.
loading...
Thanks for the tip Jude – I’ll try it tonight

Sorry to be a complete pain, but does any one have a gluten free version of the mug cake? do you think it would work with gluten free self raising flour? Trust me, if I could get away with eating wheat I would be making one right now!
How perfect for a wintery night snuggled up watching a movie!!!
loading...
What about coconut flour with gluten free baking powder? Might just have to alter the other ingredients to get the right consistency.
Note: 1 cup normal flour = about 1/3 cup coconut flour
loading...
Ive made one before just substituting it for Gf flour and it worked pretty well!
loading...
Could you use almond or hazelnut meal instead? It might have a denser texture though.

OMM this week…… one of my best friends got engaged!!
So happy for her! But shocked to. I knew they’d get married (because they’re gorgeous and the perfect couple, been together 3 years yada yada) but I didn’t expect it this soon. She’s young (21) but so ready for this next step in her life…so happy for her
Plus my boyfriend’s sister is soo close to popping and having her little boy. So excited. Please let the next month go fast….she may be induced early because she is soo big, so who knows, good news might be only a few weeks away
Nothing else has been as exciting as that this week really! Good news all around

OMM: One of my housemates is moving out so that she’ll live closer to work instead of the hour drive she has every morning. Put something up on fb straight away and already have 4 people interested in her room which is good
Can’t focus- it’s week 3 of uni and my text books are STILL all in their plastic wrappings. I really need to start doing some work before I fall too far behind seeing as I’m doing all 3rd units
Lastly, one of my best friends is moving overseas for good today
not a fan of this!
Ohh and was planning on starting “my sisters getting married in a few months and I want to look nice in photos” diet but now I’m craving a mug cake!!
loading...
I had my first session with a counsellor last week. The lady was really nice and easy to talk to. She gave me a few things to chew over. I’m going to see her again this week, and then we will discuss whether I have more sessions with her on my own or see her as a couple – she is a trained marriage counsellor. I would feel comfortable taking my husband to talk to her. He is continuing with his own sessions too and I can see him making some changes, like staying upstairs with me after the kids are asleep instead of going to his study. I also did all his ironing the other day without him having to ask me, and I think he appreciated that.
Everything still feels quite distant and I hope we are able to find our way back to each other. I can’t believe people can grow so far apart that the thought of intimacy seems new now. At least we are trying and not giving up just yet.
loading...
Good on you! Keep up the good work! xxx
loading...
good on you, don’t give up xx

Thinking of your Bird x

That’s great Bird, have been wondering how you’re going. REally hope it all works out for you. Either way, whatever happens, know that you will be ok. xxxx

What a cutie! Love that Adele girl.
On the pic of Mia sneaking in some work – I thought her lap top cover was a painting she’d done on the retreat. Thought she had some hidden talents!
OMM – my beautiful grandmother died on Sunday. I’m currently scanning photos of her life and putting together a little visual presentation for the funeral. I’m so emotional. She was quite extraordinary. My mum has just asked me to do a reading at the funeral and I honestly don’t know if I will be able to keep my shit together enough to get through it.
On another note my little cousin had a baby this week. The circle of life.
loading...
I just LOL-ed so hard at the laptop comment. I have finally found what I think it looks like thanks to you! A retreat painting! Brilliant.
And I am so sorry to hear about your grandma. I remember doing the same thing, and eulogy, at her funeral. It was kind of nice to see her life as a whole. She was remarkable and I’m sure yours was too
loading...
I seriously thought the same thing when i saw that photo!!!!
loading...
me three!
loading...
Me four, guess I’ve been to too many retreats.

This weekend I discovered that my new boyfriend wears matching button down pyjamas to bed. I discovered that it’s the cute little quirks that make someone so loveable
loading...
I have been waiting for this post all week! Love it so much and happy birthday whippersnapper!
There is heaps on my mind this week. Feeling a little overwhelmed with fifth year out of six years university. I’m feeling like I’m not on top of it and that’s stressing me out. With clerkships around the corner in June, I really need to maintain my high credit/distinction average.
The other thing on my mind is the fact that I changed jobs. I was being bullied by my boss in the big corporation and I left and have started back at my old law firm of which I left for it. I know everything like the back of my hand but part of me wants to be back at the old corporation. Do you think it is sick to email my corporate psychopathic boss and ask her if there is an opportunity for me to legal intern 2 days a week? Am I just pathetic? Love some advice there
loading...
Don’t do it!!! As you said you have to maintain your high grades. So do not jeopardise this over a job. This is your future, there will be lots of wonderful job opportunities in the future.
loading...
I just told Nat that I was making mug cakes tonight. And then I remembered I don’t have a microwave
loading...
I went through the same thought-process…first time I’ve EVER wanted a microwave…
loading...
How this the first time you have EVER wanted a microwave?!
I seriously use mine every day!
loading...
I’m normally a very patient man…I can wait..
loading...
haha I’m so impatient!
loading...
Hehe, one of my favourite Simpsons quotes is Homer whining when some food is heating up in the microwave: “45 seconds? I can’t wait that long – I’m hungry NOW!”
loading...
Oh I felt that pain last year. I went 4 months without a microwave. It was good in theory, but in reality it meant that on the days i forgot to thaw meat in the fridge, dinner was difficult.
loading...
Oh lucy! I have a spare one in our garage!!!!! If you were in Melb or I was in Syd I promise I would drop it off to you. as its only taking up space.
loading...
That is so lovely! It’s okay, I’m moving into a new place next week and it has a microwave (I think). So it’ll be mug cakes, ahoy!
loading...
Try Big W – we needed a new micro recently and got one for about $40 I think – pretty small, but does the trick!
I find the microwave is really only used in our house for reheating leftovers, but it means there is so much less waste when you can warm up last night’s leftover spag bol rather than throwing it away, or having it all a bit crusty around the edge from using the oven!
loading...
Luce – do it at work and make us one!
loading...
Deal. Monday.
loading...
Where did my comment go? the replies are there but the original has been deleted!
loading...
I handed in my resignation letter two weeks ago. It’s my last shift this Sunday. I love my new job and I have the most wonderful boss. Excited for my last year of uni.
And most importantly I can’t remember the last time I felt depressed.
Wishing everyone the best because you truly deserve it.
loading...
I want to make that cake. can’t wait to go home and try it.
loading...
I made a mugcake last week! Was a bit much for one person though. Beautiful with double thick cream mmm…….
loading...
I feel a little bit responsible for your Draw Something addiction… I couldn’t guess that pic last night to save my life! But my drawings aren’t exactly a work of art either haha!
That’s what I love about it
I have a good laugh while drawing.
loading...
I’m obsessed with draw something. I ended up very hungover on Saturday (no idea how…) and literally spent all day in bed watching the West Wing and playing draw something!
loading...
Yeah, it was a pretty bad representation of Russia
loading...
We don’t dress alike, but I once dressed as my partner for a dress up party where the theme was something beginning with D, and he’s called Daniel. Mens clothes are so comfy.
loading...
why is it so difficult to find a full time job in the industry that I just graduated from uni?? I know it is only 3 months and I have a part time job in the area but my dreams *sigh*
loading...
That little girl is so cute, I think my ovaries are melting.
loading...
I LOVE mug cakes! They’re so cute and perfect when you need that sugar kick.
Seeing that Nicky’s asking what’s on our minds this week… I’m dying to get advice on something.
You know those people who make noises when they eat? They slurp ANYTHING and make all kinds of funny noises with their mouthes when food is in their mouth? And you just wonder whether they can hear it all happening? Well they drive me insane.
Of course, I never ever say anything about it. That’s even more rude.
Well, my main problem is that my boyfriend if 1 year does it and it’s starting to really bother me. So much that I actually get put off eating with him!
I adore him and know that I sound shallow but I can’t help feeling this way!
Should I say something nicely or just grit my teeth and block it out?
loading...
Gah! I also have the iphone battery problem – also caused by Draw Something
loading...
I have a sore back from sitting on the floor trying to continue Draw Something with my iPhone plugged into charger…because I had already flattened the battery via Draw S!
My Draw app is really buggy, though. Or perhaps it is trying to tell me something – ie use in moderation

So, I’m meeting Gamer Guy for brunch on Sunday. Just him and me.
And I’m shitting myself. But very excited
loading...
This is the BEST THING I’VE READ ALL WEEK!!!!!
Please let us know how it goes! I went on a date last week and my heart was literally in my stomach. It’s a lot of fun but the hours leading up I was petrified!
loading...
Very cool.
loading...
good-luck!
loading...
Hey Cupcake! I’m really happy to hear this because I’ve noticed your comments over the past few weeks. Last I heard you said you were going to go online less and see if he noticed, did that work? How did the date end up being organised? Very happy for you, you must have the craziest butterflies right now!
loading...
Yep. I was gone two days, and when I logged in next he rang me on Skype straight away, asking where I had been and if I was ok. Have to do that more often
And he’s down this weekend for a birthday which I can’t make, so he asked if I wanted to do brunch on Sunday.
And I’m so nervous it’s just mental.
loading...
good luck cupcake
have a great time and make sure to update us!
loading...
woohoo!!
in real life!
If you get nervous or run out of stuff to say you can just lean over and pash him
loading...
It’s so freaking tempting it’s unbelievable.
loading...
I’m a bit out of the loop on this, did you meet him online? Have you met in person?
Soooo luv a first date story! xxxx
loading...
I met him through I guy I work with, they went to school together. The guy I work with introduced us online (I’m a gamer as well). I’ve since met him in person once, but we tend to speak for a couple of hours every day. On the weekend it’s longer.
loading...
Brilliant!
Best of luck.
loading...
Have fun!
loading...
woop! good luck cupcake

Mug cake looks delish, I shall be trying it – however, I can assure you that the recipe is for about 4 mugs (not necessarily 4 people though) I made a similar recipe recently and by the time you’ve got 4 tbsp of flour in a mug, you’re not going to get much else in
loading...
Yeah I think you’re right – unless your mugs are bowls (like ours at MM).
loading...
Mr W made a mug cake for me once, but the bottom of it was all floury and stuff, yuck!
On my mind this week: internet friends. The wonderful JJ, Miss T and Mel Savage sent me a cake to work for my birthday yesterday! I got to work and was a little bit upset (no work morning teas for birthdays so no-one remembered) and then THE CAKE ARRIVED! I was so excited and it was so thoughtful and lovely. Youse guys are the best
Thanks for bringing us together Mamamia
loading...
aww shucks!
*blushes*
[Ditto from me - thanks MM for bringing me together with lots of new friends.]
loading...
FYI: My birthday is June 1
loading...
You know, after we sent the cake, Mel and T and I all realised that we weren’t even in the same city…and couldn’t share the cake…
We really needed to have thought that through a bit more..
If we send you a cake on June 1, we can come eat some…yes?
loading...
That is so lovely! Well done guys. And happy birthday Whipper Snapper!
loading...
I haven’t been around much but I came back for this post because Internet buddies are the best and I adore that MM and twitter has meant that I have so many new friends.
I hope your birthday was wonderful and that you enjoy your celebrations this weekend (and your best present of all, your trip to America in a couple of weeks).
Xoxox

Happy Birthday! By the sounds of it, your day was already wonderful
enjoy!

Happy birthday for yesterday, Whippersnapper!!! Is there anything better than cake? I think not.
loading...
Happy Birthday Whippersnapper!
loading...
I’m sure I had something insightful to share before I saw the mug cake recipe…
now all I can think about is cake and whether I have self raising flour at home…
and whether I could eat one before hockey practice…
loading...
Sorry cannot type – too busy watching that video. On repeat
loading...
